About this location

DON'T CHOOSE THE WRONG HOLIDAY! BEFORE MAKING ANY DECISION, PLEASE READ THIS DOCUMENT IN FULL. This is not a commercial site. WE WELCOME YOU TO OUR HOME. We will be present nearby, discreetly, without interfering with your plans, privacy, or activities, BUT AVAILABLE 24/7 IF YOU CONTACT US, to help, advise, or guide you. On our property, with a deliberately limited number of campers (10 to 25 people per day, depending on the tourist season in the region), we are eager to share with you the treasures of the region, its landscapes, and the kindness of its people, in a preserved setting, far from any disturbances. Our primary motivation is to allow travelers to enjoy an exceptional setting and environment. For this reason, we only accept guests for a minimum stay of two nights (we do not accept one-night stays). Our 3-hectare terraced park is located in a valley crossed by a small river. There are no immediate neighbors, no nearby roads, and it lies in the heart of the Cinque Terre Natural Park. Unmarked tent pitches ranging from 40 to 150 square meters ensure peace, privacy, and quiet. TO AVOID ANY MISUNDERSTANDING AND PRESERVE THE TRANQUILITY OF THE PLACE AND OUR GUESTS, every camper wishing to stay on our property in Castiglione Chiavarese declares that they have read and agree to the general terms and conditions of stay. VERY IMPORTANT: Due to our organization and personal constraints, we must ask you to take all necessary precautions to arrive at the meeting point at precisely 4:30 PM on your arrival day. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate you after this time, nor, depending on the circumstances, on the following day(s). We do not accept large, traditional motorhomes or caravans. Only campervans or converted vehicles, and of course, vehicles belonging to campers staying in tents, are accepted. We advise against long or heavy trailers, which will require some maneuvering on your part to access our pitches. ONE VEHICLE MAXIMUM and its passengers PER PITCH AND RESERVATION. Any additional vehicle and its passengers require a separate reservation. Access from the village is via a small paved road. Due to the exceptional tranquility of the location, the last hundred meters to reach our site are along a private, unpaved road with a slight incline, but perfectly passable. Your pitch must be vacated by noon on your departure day. There are no individual electrical outlets on the pitches. Numerous outlets are available in the sanitary facilities and communal areas (power suitable only for telephones, computers, razors, kettles, hair dryers, etc. Not for electric hobs). Several refrigerators are available for your use free of charge. Most of our pitches are large enough and accessible by car. If not, your car will be parked securely near your equipment. For safety reasons and the well-being of our guests, children must remain under the constant supervision of their parents, not wander unaccompanied on the grounds, and must not disturb the peace and quiet. Dogs are welcome provided they do not bark excessively, their owner does not allow them to roam outside their designated area, they consistently accompany their owner when going outside the campsite, and their waste is thoroughly cleaned up (please inform us if you will be bringing a pet when making your reservation). As the region is occasionally subject to water shortages, we recommend that participants use the taps and showers provided sparingly. Out of respect for other campers, we ask our guests to avoid any noise, shouting, or loud conversations between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM. Fires on or near the campsite are strictly prohibited. Barbecues and other standard cooking appliances must be used with caution. Cigarettes and extinguished cigarette butts must never be discarded in nature or in garbage bins. We encourage you to use the clotheslines provided for drying your laundry. The price of your stay on our private land is considered a contribution from the camper towards the general operating costs of the site (water, electricity, general maintenance, local taxes, etc.). As this is not a traditional, commercial, "public" campsite, the camper declares that they assume full responsibility for themselves and their family for any harm they may suffer on our land and premises, regardless of its origin. They fully release the host landowner from all liability in the event of any incident (inclement weather, incidents or accidents resulting in property damage or personal injury occurring on the property, domestic accidents, accidents of natural or structural origin, etc.). We offer our guests a 3-hectare natural terraced site planted with olive trees. Located in a valley, near a pleasant little river (swimming possible) and the village of Castiglione Chiavarese. This village, situated on the immediate heights, overlooks the sea. The sea is accessible in 15 minutes by car or public transport (a public bus service very close to our site will allow you to travel and access the typical villages of the Cinque Terre, as well as the coast and towns in the region, quickly and at a lower cost). To ensure the location suits you, we invite you to consult a road map to precisely locate our village of Castiglione Chiavarese within the Cinque Terre Natural Park. Our site, surrounded by nature, is isolated from all noise pollution and close to all amenities (all shops are in the village, located a 10-minute walk from our pitches). Access to the five typical villages of the Cinque Terre is only easily possible BY TRAIN (Sestri Levante train station is 15 minutes from our property by car / 20 minutes by city bus). The connection between this station and the villages of the Cinque Terre takes only a few minutes and costs very little. We will send you all the practical details regarding this once your registration is confirmed. We will also provide you with all the necessary information to help you get around, explore, enjoy local activities, and purchase local products during your stay. Located at the bottom of a valley, in the heart of the Cinque Terre National Park, our property is crossed by a small, clear stream, ideal for swimming and cooling off. We will be available discreetly to share our extensive knowledge of the region and the close relationships we have cultivated with the local community for several decades, should you wish. We can provide you with hiking maps and advice to help you explore with peace of mind on marked trails of all levels. If you wish, our staff will be available to advise you on walks, excursions to the Cinque Terre villages, administrative information, and any other technical assistance. Less than a 10-minute walk from your campsite, you'll find a full range of services in the village center: grocery store, fuel, tobacconist, post office, bank and ATM, pharmacy, dentist, and emergency services. There's also a typical family-run restaurant in the village, as well as numerous restaurants and pizzerias in the surrounding villages and along the coast. (Once your reservation is confirmed, we will send you detailed and personalized documents to answer any questions you may have on these points.) On-site, informational materials will be available to help you make the most of all the tourist, sporting, and discovery activities the region has to offer. (Visit the villages of the Cinque Terre... Pisa... Portofino... Genoa... etc... Hiking or mountain biking trails in the hills or along the coast... etc... etc...) Our long-standing presence in the region, our close relationships with the locals and authorities, and our in-depth knowledge of the Cinque Terre Natural Park will help you, if you wish, to enrich your plans and discoveries, in complete safety. Nearby: A very quiet Olympic-sized swimming pool in the middle of a pine forest. Equestrian center. Pedal boats. Sailing... Adventure park... Scooter rentals... etc. You can enjoy breakfast, dinner, homemade pizza, or cold meals at a very reasonable price in the village's family-run restaurant.

Perfect for...

Travelers looking for a quiet place, surrounded by nature and with deliberately limited numbers.

Only “VANs” or converted vehicles are welcome. We do not recommend long or heavy trailers, which will require a certain amount of dexterity on your part to access our locations. MAXIMUM ONE VEHICLE and its passengers FOR ONE LOCATION AND ONE RESERVATION. Any additional vehicle and its passengers must be the subject of an additional DIFFERENTIATED RESERVATION. Access from the village is via a small tarmac road. The exceptional tranquility of the place requires you to travel the last hundred meters to reach our land, on a private untarmac road with a slight slope, but completely passable. To allow travelers to fully appreciate the natural and human environment of the place, we do not accept requests for accommodation for only one night. (Two nights minimum).
