About this location

At the end of the cul-de-sac lies our farm, directly on the Elstermühlgraben, with boat dock and bathing area.
There is space for 2-3 motorhomes or campers.

Only during the season from May to September can additional services be used by arrangement.
...such as bicycles and paddle boats, fire pit, outdoor sink, grill, outdoor bath, etc.
Additional services are billed on-site as needed. (flat rate approx. €10 per day and person)

Depending on the season, organic vegetables, herbs and fruits from the garden are also available for purchase.

Outside the season, only a pitch is possible and if needed, the use of the composting toilet, electricity and drinking water - this will be billed separately on-site.

This place is a place of reflection, mindfulness and joy of being! A paradise-like place for hiking and cycling, as well as paddling. The village is small and time seems to have stood still here...

Here you are idyllically surrounded by lush greenery and a river that almost makes you feel as if you were in the Amazon :-)
This place is a place of peace and relaxation. Suitable for contemplation, self-discovery and recovery. The property borders the Elstermühlgraben on one side and an orchard meadow and sheep pasture on the other. Our neighbours are very friendly people and also like to be greeted by guests - the village has a rather family-like atmosphere...

Location: Near the B2 between Leipzig and Zeitz.
13 km to Zeitz, 30 km to Leipzig
There is an hourly train in both directions from Profen train station, 1.3 km walk away.
You can reach Leipzig Hbhf in 25 minutes by train, or Zeitz in 10 minutes...
Nearby there is also the ice cream parlour "Zur Eisscholle" and the village pub "Die Eiche" with delicious food, as well as "Der Froschkönig" on Bahnhofstrasse, for breakfast and coffee...

You can also visit the Profen opencast mine, if you have never seen this kind of moonscape, you will certainly be amazed.
Not far away is also the Mondsee, a beautiful destination.
Shopping facilities are available from 7km away in Pegau or Groitzsch.

Activities
The property is located directly on the Elster cycle path, which is absolutely wonderful. You can rent simple bicycles here if needed. You can hike wonderfully, there is the Elsterwehr, the wildlife enclosure, the fishing ponds and much more to discover... Or you can paddle a small round on the mill stream, paddle boats can also be rented.
A 10km paradise paddle tour on the white Elster, which winds through the floodplain landscape in tight curves on this stretch, from Ostrau to the Elsterwehr, is also possible at any time.

Other things
There is a guitar at the pitch.
Organic vegetables, many herbs and fruits grow in the garden - depending on the season, which are also available for a fee if needed.
There are also games and toys, books and craft supplies...

If you want to arrive today and there is no one there, you can open the silver gate yourself (it is not locked) and stand on the lawn as you like. The arrival and departure times are guidelines and can be adapted to your needs after personal consultation. This is not a public campsite! AWARENESS is the magic word here, because I also want to feel comfortable in my home, when guests are there... If you need something, please always ask first! Nothing is impossible :-)) Always put everything you use back neatly in its place. Only smoke where no one else will be disturbed and dispose of cigarette butts responsibly. Playing music and singing on site or around the campfire is welcome. There is also a guitar on site. Children are responsible for supervising them to ensure that they are safe and cannot fall into the pond or river. Please be friendly to the people here in the village and in the surrounding area, this includes at least saying hello to them in a cheerful way :-) That's common practice here. Drinking parties and other drug abuse are not welcome here! Parties with loud music from the speakers are also not appropriate here. Again the note: The price is ONLY for the parking space. The use of the sanitary facilities, the garden, the infrastructure, electricity, water, bicycles, boats, bathing area and everything else you need and want will be billed on site - as required.

Hello, I live in a small, old village between Leipzig and Zeitz on the B2 highway – a place where time seems to have stood still. Since this idyllic spot is quite large, I'm happy to share it with people looking for a place to sleep outdoors. It's important to me to call beforehand to see if it's a good fit – because we need to get along. I'm not a public campsite!
