Wake up to birdsong in the forest or enjoy a relaxed countryside view? Our spacious grounds feature both a beautiful 4500m² forest plot with an adjoining meadow.

Since November 2020 we have lived on this wonderful parcel with our family, and we're happy to share this land with nature lovers like us!

On the grounds you'll find a dedicated guest parking spot, water tap, composting toilet, and accommodation in the forest or meadow. Campfires are available by arrangement.

Where are you? In Opende, on the border of Friesland and Groningen in a beautiful walking and cycling area. The landscape bears the signature of the ice age with gently rolling terrain, pingos, and heathland. Easy reach of Groningen, Holwerd (ferry to the Wadden Islands), and beautiful nature. Come and experience it!

If they cancel between 7 and 14 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded. If the host does not accept the reservation, guests will receive a full refund.

Rules

You will have your own parking space with a water tap and a walking path to the camping site. You can maintain this access from the entrance and exit of the yard. We have chickens that roam around during the day so bringing dogs isn't very convenient. We have fixed places for campfires. Our site is a smoke-free zone and we like that you have peace and respect for nature. So no loud music and night noise.
