About this location

Our garden is a lovely piece of nature where you can easily unwind. There are beautiful tent pitches provided, offering plenty of privacy. In the garden, you will find a dry toilet and an outdoor shower. Recently, a conservatory was added which we use as a garden room. This provides a pleasant place to sit, cook, and eat while staying dry, even in rainy weather. We have a large swimming pond with a sauna next to it. There is a large campfire circle, but also a smaller one for those who prefer a more intimate setting. Walking and cycling are easy in the area; the 'Oude Kale Vallei' is nearby, and various cycling junctions pass practically by our house. Those wishing to go to Ghent city centre can reach it in just 30 minutes by bike, along a beautiful and safe route beside the water. By car, you can reach the Brugse Poort, on the outskirts of Ghent, in 10 minutes. You can park your car there for 4 euros per day (Groendreef or Elyzeese Velden) and easily continue on foot or by tram. You can park your car in an adjacent street (Kasteeldreef); please do not park in front of our immediate neighbors' houses. You can store bicycles next to your tent. Supermarkets, cafes, and restaurants are within walking/cycling distance.
