About this campspace #s004640
Touts Station Garden is an acre of pretty garden and allotment and home to tree roosting free ranging hens. Sat right next to the river Yeo and a 2 mile drive to Exmoor National Park, and 5 minute drive to local market town of South Molton. North Devons beaches are an approx 30-40 minute drive away where we have Saunton and Croyde, Woolacombe, Combe Martin, Ilfracombe, Westward Ho! and Instow.
I offer the whole place exclusively to yourselves in a group of upto 12 of your friends. I am a chef and vegetable grower so I offer a full or half board service where by I prepare and cook for you dinner and breakfast using my finest grown vegetables, salad leaves and herbs and other lovely local produce. Menu's discussed prior to your arrival. Dietary quirks catered for.
I live on site in a newly built timber framed cabin. We are off grid with some solar power, composting loos and wifi. We have running water.
We have two 5m bell tents for hire. Each come with fully made up beds and simple decor. We also have a retro 23' Bucaneer caravan complete with small woodburner. This has a king size bed and a small fixed double bed.
We have a fire bowl for you all to sit around after your dinner, where you can chill out and play some tunes before retiring to bed. We also have a 12' circular cooling off pool or the river for swimming is right on our doorstep!
We do allow well behaved dogs but if they are likely to chase chickens then they'll have to be on a lead.
Prices are per person and include dinner and breakfast and the hire of my tents/caravan.

Hi, I am Mills and I own an acre of land that I've transformed into a wonderful garden and allotment. I am a chef by trade and I grow lots of vegetables, salad leaves and herbs, some soft fruits too. I also have a flock of woodland hens that mostly roost in the trees but give me lovely eggs. Touts Station Garden sits alongside a disused railway line and adjacent to the River Yeo, nestled in the valley just below Exmoor National Park.
I offer my space for small events, weddings and other functions and also offer a full/half board bamping/glamping service. The idea is as a group of upto 12 friends, you can have the place to yourselves, exclusive to you. There'll be no-one else here, ie, no other paying guests. I have two 5m bell tents and a 23' touring caravan that sleeps 4, 1 king size, 1 small double. This also has a small woodburner. There are composting loo's and running water, and a fire bowl to sit around. . I live on site in a timber framed cabin, and I am here to cook you breakfast and dinner, leaving you to explore North Devons coastline and Exmoor during the day. Or if you would rather just stay put and chill out in a hammock by the pool (12' cooling off pool!!) and listen to the river gently rushing by. Packages to suit everyone, and menu's discussed prior to your arrival. I cater for all dietary quirks and needs too! We have wifi and a telephone. Mobile signal is non existent here.
Well behaved dogs welcome but we do have free ranging chickens!! Keep noise levels down after 11pm.
