Dear camping friends, we are Emilia and Sören and welcome you warmly. Together we run a charming campsite on an approximately 800-year-old manor house estate, which invites you to dream.

A stay with us promises relaxation and peace. On an idyllic pitch in the heart of nature at the gateway to the heath and pond landscape of Upper Lusatia, you can begin your holiday and let your soul unwind right by the pond.

The heath and pond landscape of Upper Lusatia offers numerous excursion opportunities, all within just a few minutes by car or on foot or by bike. These include the Bautzen reservoir (8 minutes by car), the bathing lakes "Olba" or "Blaue Adria" (10 minutes by car). Those who enjoy cycling or hiking can observe animals and rare birds such as kingfishers on several routes through the pond landscape.

We are also enthusiastic campers ourselves and love spending nights in nature away from the beaten path and experiencing the culture of the region. Tips

  • The city of Bautzen with its many towers and historic old town is worth a visit and is only a few minutes away by car.

  • In Kleinwelka there is a very special adventure park where children can explore the ancient prehistoric dinosaurs alongside the maze, slides and machine courses.

  • Our village's own ancient grain bakery conjures up delicious baked goods from old grains such as champagne roe. There is also a small shop, a butcher's shop and a kiosk in the village

  • Various restaurants and bars spoil you with culinary delights, a glass of wine and a summery evening atmosphere in the alleys of Bautzen's old town.

  • You can find the best pizza at the Gasthof Klix in the neighboring town of the same name. A real Italian restaurant has settled here and even delivers its delicacies to your camper.

    Adjacent to Malschwitz, many small forests invite you to relax or observe nature.

    Malschwitz is surrounded by agriculture and here you can find many fields and meadows.

    A short tour through the heath and pond landscape is very impressive. You can find out more in the "House of 1000 Ponds".

    A cycle and hiking trail leads directly through the town of Malschwitz, from where you can quickly reach the ponds or the Bautzen reservoir

    There is a horse farm in the Naber town of Pließkowitz.

  • Swimming

    There are numerous bathing lakes in the area, such as the reservoir near Bautzen or the "Olga" or the "Blau Adria"

  • Visiting nearby towns

    Bautzen with its historic towers or Görlitz as a film set town are worth a visit.

  • Wildlife watching

    The heath and pond landscape offers many possibilities here; if you are interested in older animals, the dinosaur park near Kleinwelka offers the perfect opportunity to marvel at them.

  • Boating

    At the reservoir near Bautzen you can cruise across the lake with a pedal boat or stand-up paddleboard.

  • Climbing

    A high ropes course is located at the Bautzen reservoir

  • Making a campfire

    We will be happy to provide you with the fire bowl for a cozy little campfire.

    On a tour through the pond landscape you can observe many animals.
