About this location

Our spacious camping meadow offers you free choice of pitch with expansive views across the paddocks. The meadow is peaceful and open, nestled in nature, ideal for those seeking relaxation and genuine rural idyll. A horse paddock is directly adjacent to the meadow, so you'll be camping in close proximity to our farm animals. Many rescued sanctuary animals live on the farm and are lovingly cared for. The farm is a little paradise for children: they are free to roam, explore, observe, and make their first contact with the animals. A small toilet and drinking water taps are located at the barn, about 300 meters from the meadow. A solar shower is available. Electricity hookups are available on the meadow. Garbage and greywater disposal is not possible. Hands-on animal experiences: We also offer guided activities with our animals – from grooming ponies and helping with feeding to getting to know the animals together. These experiences are especially popular with children and should be booked in advance, as spaces are very limited. An ideal spot for camping close to nature, where love of animals and freedom are paramount – simple, welcoming, and authentic. Breitenbach also has much to offer: two beautiful churches and historic buildings, shops and restaurants, as well as numerous scenic hiking trails. Sleeping arrangements: - Large double bed (approx. 2 x 2 m) - The seating area can be converted into an additional bed (approx. 1.30 x 2 m) Bed linen is included. Amenities: - Cozy living area with seating group - Outdoor seating - Refrigerator in the adjacent garden shed - Lovingly designed retro ambiance with plenty of charm. A special feature: The caravan is located directly next to a horse paddock and offers a wonderful view of the surrounding greenery. For families with children, a small tent can be set up next to the caravan upon request, should the children prefer their own little adventure. Important information: - No running water available - No cooking facilities - No private bathroom or toilet in the caravan - The refrigerator is located in the garden shed next to the caravan - The parking space is about 20 meters away on the campsite. The caravan is only accessible on foot – unfortunately, dogs are not allowed. Our accommodation is ideal for couples, small families, and nature lovers looking for a cozy, uncomplicated place to stay with a special flair. All proceeds benefit our sanctuary animals.
