About this location

Welcome to our nature campsite in the forest! We offer two pitches at the edge of the woods. The first pitch has space for up to three tents and is located in a clearing by a bend in a stream. Partially covered tables and benches are available. There are two designated areas for campfires. A forest pond is nearby where you can fish with a permit. The second pitch is situated on a hill with a magnificent view towards the sunrise. You can see as far as the Jizera and Giant Mountains. Here you'll find a covered seating area and a sun lounger. Our nature campsite is part of the "Community" sculpture project along the sculpture trail between Herrnhut and Großhennersdorf. Shopping facilities are available in Herrnhut (2 km), and there's a restaurant just one kilometer away. Within a 30km radius, there are numerous cities worth visiting, such as Bautzen, Görlitz, and Zittau, as well as fascinating museums, large lakes for swimming, outdoor pools, a high ropes course, a summer toboggan run, rocks with climbing opportunities, inflatable boat tours on the Neisse River, and much more. Dresden is 90km away and Prague about 150km. Since July 2024, the town of Herrnhut has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Since August 2024, we have also offered a more comfortable third campsite directly in Herrnhut, situated on green grounds, with drinking water, showers and toilets, a covered seating area, hammocks, and a fire pit. Campfires are also permitted here, however, dogs are not allowed. Wi-Fi is available near the office.

There is also a wooden cabin for 2-3 people and two hammocks. We have a covered table with two benches. There is a toilet, a shower, and the option to connect your caravan to electricity. A campfire area belonging to the Scouts on the same grounds is also available for use. The Scouts are usually there on Monday afternoons. Free parking is available. A supermarket (Netto) is 200 meters away. Other shops are nearby. We only rent to one person or one group at a time. You will have the pitch to yourself. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed.
