About this location

Nature camping on the Lower Rhine
With us, you'll be staying on a paved farmyard directly at the foot of the Rhine dyke near Rees, the oldest town on the Lower Rhine. Our nature campsite is located on a quiet farm track and offers absolute peace and quiet, especially at night. Water, electricity, and greywater disposal are available. Toilet use is also available for a cleaning fee of €5 per day (for stays of two or more days).
Activities on the Lower Rhine
Here, you have direct access to what is arguably the most beautiful cycle path, right on the crest of the dike between Rees and the famous Bislich Lake District. From here, you can enjoy extensive cycling tours and hikes in the typical Lower Rhine surroundings. To the north, it's about 30 minutes by bike to the Netherlands, and to the south, about 60 minutes to the Ruhr region. How about a trip to the oldest city in the Netherlands, Nijmegen?
