About this location

Nestled in the peaceful village of Barlow on the edge of the Peak District, the campsite is a small, adults-only, dog-friendly campsite offering a relaxing countryside escape away from the busy tourist crowds.

Our site is best suited to self-contained units, including motorhomes, caravans, campervans, and car tents with pop-up toilets. Each pitch includes electric hook-up, with fresh drinking water and chemical waste disposal available on site.

Set on a working farm with an adjoining livery yard, guests can enjoy the sight of horses grazing nearby while relaxing in our signature hammocks and taking in the beautiful rural surroundings.
Barlow is a hidden gem surrounded by rolling countryside, woodland walks, and scenic trails, making it ideal for walkers, cyclists, and dog owners alike. The village is also home to two fantastic local pubs, The Tickled Trout and The Peacock, both perfect for a cosy meal or drink after a day exploring.
Whether you’re looking for a peaceful weekend retreat or a base to discover the Peak District, we offer a warm welcome and a truly relaxing countryside stay.

To maintain the simple, low-key nature of the site, we cater exclusively for fully self-contained units, as we do not provide toilet or shower facilities.

We’d also recommend bringing self-levelling blocks, as the site has a gentle slope.

Hey! I’m Sophie, and I recently swapped the chaos of London life for a return to my family farm in Barlow.
I love hosting, walking, baking, and creating lovely spaces where people can relax and enjoy time in their tourers. I wanted to open a campsite to do my own thing, share this special place, and welcome people to the farm.
