About this campspace #s004115

Come and enjoy our beautiful spot on the edge of the village of Angeren in Lingewaard. In our small fruit orchard you stand wonderfully quiet with a view of the dike. You can make a campfire and our hot tub can also be used in consultation. There is a (cold) outdoor shower available. By bike you can go to Castle Doornenburg or Fort Pannerden, but park Lingezegen is also recommended. Nearby you can canoe and paddleboard on the Linge and in the cozy core of Huissen there are plenty of restaurants to enjoy a delicious bite to eat.
There is plenty of space for children to play or play football, but the playgrounds in Hulhuizen and Doornenburg are also worth a visit.

Meet Dick en Yvonne, your host

We are Dick and Yvonne Hermsen, we live on a former farm "t Roode Wald". We live there with great pleasure with our 3 children. We also have 2 dogs, 3 goats, chickens, a rooster and 2 rabbits. We really enjoy the view from our house, the orchard, the vegetable and flower garden. We would like to share this feeling with you.

The contact with Yvonne and Dick was very good. They sent us messages immediately and were very kind and welcoming. The night we stayed to camp it rained a lot and they helped us to stay dry through the night. The location is also really nice.

The booking of the campsite was relatively straightforward. Everything worked out great. Dick and Yvonne were also very friendly and flexible. The farm was very nice and very cozy, the area includes rivers and fields and there was another castle nearby. The air was very beneficial due to all the nature. We got to know the hosts quickly and we were shown the farm and explained everything we needed. The two of them are very hospitable and offered us various drinks and fruits from the garden or petting the animals. The dogs were also very nice. We were lucky that there were still a few neighbors to visit and we were part of a small private party. It was very interesting to learn something about the life of the Dutch in the village of Angeren. A super great experience and I would visit the farm again at any time if I come through Angeren!

A couple of details: The shower is cold but functional. The toilet house is very clean. The meadow on which you can camp is also very quiet and flat. There is no electricity or running water. Since we were out by bike, we were also allowed to use their air pump to check the tire pressure.

Our overnight stay in Angeren was very nice! You are in a quiet place with goats and a vegetable garden. We were warmly welcomed by Yvonne. She is very friendly and helpful.
There is a cold shower, which is wonderful in this weather, but it might be good to mention this. Furthermore, the sanitary facilities were clean.
