- Spent 3 nights on a mini campsite for the first time. The place and the facilities are ok, similar to the campsites we had been to. Because it is small, everything is close by.

- Unfortunately no wifi.
- On Sunday evening/night a car drove onto the site at 1.30 pm and there was chatter in front of the tent for at least an hour. I did not get the impression from the management that this was being monitored. I also did not see any regulations that stated the camping rules.
- I also object that all costs must be paid in advance. I have not experienced this until now. We came from Normandy and only had to pay afterwards. In the Netherlands you sometimes pay a deposit of about 10% of the expected costs.
Now you put all the risk on the guest, while doing business means running a risk. Moreover, the postseason had started. The 1st night there were spots left, the 2nd night there was only 50% occupancy and the 3rd night only 30%. So the argument to be able to rent the place to another guest doesn't count either.

How was the contact with the host?
minimal, but sufficient

How was the contact with the host?

Tips for new guests?
Geniet!!

How was the contact with the host?

Tips for new guests?

Wow, what a campsite. Friendly people, good value for money, nice and quiet, good facilities.

How was the contact with the host?
Very friendly.

Tips for new guests?
If you like big campsites, close to everything, don't go here. If you are looking for peace, hiking trails and small scale, this is perfect.

Spontaneously decided to take a break from the Netherlands for a few days and last minute we were able to stay at this nice campsite for a few more days. Nice atmosphere, beautiful places and good sanitary facilities.
In the smaller places you are quite close to each other and that was fine in itself, but we were unlucky that our neighbors smoked a lot, so that we unintentionally sniffed somewhat less healthy air than for which we had come to the countryside.

How was the contact with the host?
The owners are very friendly and helpful.

Tips for new guests?
For the Dutch: orientate yourself in advance on the environment. We have never been to the Flemish coast before and camped here during a heat wave. We thought that the area around Ostend was the Flemish equivalent of Zeeland, with quiet beaches and picturesque villages. We were wrong… If you want to have a nice and quiet bath, go to De Haan beach, but certainly not below!

Friendly, quiet camp site. Perfect for a getaway with the kids or just the two of you. Nice in the green, clean sanitary facilities, plenty to do in the area

How was the contact with the host?
Correct, friendly; nothing to complain about

Tips for new guests?
There is a small communal fridge; so easy on hot days.
With children: petting zoo 'd'Oude Smelterij Torhout', petting zoo Den Ast Lichtervelde, provincial domain Aertrycke (cycling, walking, playground), cycling along 'Groene axis 62' (Torhout - Ostend), Krinkelhof summer bar (incl. playground), Vloethemveld (walk 8.9 k)...

The campsite has only been open since the end of May. Some minor issues, but that won't be a problem for the real camper. Very quiet, at 11pm it is completely quiet.
We have been there for 3 weeks;
very suitable for peace and quiet seekers; also for families with small children. Lots of shade. We would like to say a big thank you to Kathleen and her husband for a wonderful holiday! Adam and Marianne.

How was the contact with the host?
Very friendly, very helpful, nice chats.
Nothing is too much for the guests.

Tips for new guests?
Avoid the busy moments in the shower, then you are guaranteed hot water.

Minicamping t' Veld is really a very nice place. Very green and beautifully designed. The sanitary facilities are great, and there are also additional options such as a table tennis table, fire bowls with wood or children's toys. Excellent!

A small minus point: if the place is fully booked, the individual guests stand very close to each other. But that's not a big problem - our neighbors were all very friendly :)

How was the contact with the host?
Kathleen and her husband are super friendly and take good care of your guests and the campsite. You can tell they put a lot of love into it.

Tips for new guests?
It really is a mini campsite. Large mobile homes or larger caravans will not find space to maneuver here.

We were allowed to pitch our tent for 2 nights at mini camping t Veld. The campsite is located in a beautiful, relaxing environment. Our tent was set between the apple and plum trees. Facilities such as sinks, toilets and showers were clean and tidy. There are picnic tables, a ping pong table and a trampoline. And we liked that this campsite was centrally located for days out. An excellent base for exploring West Flanders.

How was the contact with the host?
Excellent. We were warmly welcomed and given a tour of the campsite. We even got help setting up our big tent.

Tips for new guests?
Enjoy the tranquility and surroundings. Bruges and the coast can be reached by car within half an hour

Excellent
