Our mini campsite is located in the middle of the beautiful nature of Drenthe. With 15 pitches, the campsite is really a small campsite, there is a sanitary building with toilets, showers, washing and drying machine and a canteen. You can also connect your caravan, camper or other equipment to electricity. Within a few hundred meters of the campsite you will find the beautiful nature reserve, the Hijkerveld, where sheep and Scottish highlanders maintain the landscape. There is also a beautiful bird hide on the Hijkerveld, the entrance runs underground, so that you really feel like you are in the middle of the beautiful bird species. In the evening you can relax, the only thing you hear are the birds, crickets and the rustle of the leaves. A beautiful starry sky is visible at night.
The campsite is located on the Oranjekanaal, fishing is allowed here with a fishing pass. You can also sail here, we may have a canoe available.

Beautiful and well-maintained mini campsite!
I had a spacious place with electricity and wifi.
The toilets and shower were also very neat and clean.
There is a spacious canteen that you can use. In the evening and in the morning I made a cup of coffee here with the Senseo machine.
Next to the canping is a beautiful hiking trail that leads to a nature reserve. I walked to camp Westerbork, which is about 7 km from the campsite.
How was the contact with the host?
Very friendly and helpful and always up for a chat!
On arrival I received a token with which you can buy a cup of coffee at the cafe in the village.
Tips for new guests?
Be sure to visit the memorial center of the former camp Westerbork. Very impressive.

We had 2 wonderful days at the mini campsite. Great places and the environment is beautiful!
The only downside is that the plumbing was really dirty, the trash cans were overflowing and the shower and toilet seemed to have not been cleaned for a long time ..

Good, very friendly lady

Environment and place nice and good. Sanitary was disappointing: dated and my washing up area could use more attention. Photos on the site are not current.
No alarm numbers on information board (GP, dentist, etc.)
How was the contact with the host?
Friendly enthusiastic welcome by hostess.
