About this location

We offer camping on a 10,000 m² wooded garden with a family-friendly atmosphere year-round. Our house sits on a hilltop with panoramic views and a swimming pool. The property descends in terraces with large trees—pine, oak, eucalyptus, cedar, plum and cherry trees—allowing you to choose your sun exposure. The further you venture, the wilder it becomes. The village is just a 5-minute walk away, and the Hérault river is nearby.

Activities
In summer you have access to our family pool.
We offer optional breakfast in the morning.
We also offer optional family dinner in the evening.

Other remarks
Now retired, we have chosen to return to nature and work towards greater food autonomy. We are permaculturists with two 300 m² and 100 m² vegetable gardens, and a 900 m² forest garden in development.

Respect for nature, respect for people, and sharing abundance...
If you are sensitive to mosquitoes, bring repellent or coils: depending on the year, mosquitoes are more or less active ;-)

On 1 hectare of land, we favor low density of campers (for their well-being).
We have 5 areas, on terraces, because they are on the hillside.
- Zone 0, close to the house and the swimming pool. Flat area where you can place the camper van and (possibly) 1 small tent. Shaded area. Water tap and electrical outlet.
- Zone 1, just below, with the vegetable garden, pine forest, and a shaded area for 1 or 2 tents. Camping table + Dry toilets No. 1. Water tap and electrical outlet.
- Zone 2, still below, for 1 or 2 tents, with outdoor showers (x2) + Dry toilets No. 2 + Camping table. Water tap and electrical outlet.
- Zone 3, still below, is a fenced vegetable garden: no tent.
- Zone 4, still below, is a wild, shaded area, which we also offer for tents, if the year is not too conducive to mosquitoes. Drinking water tap in this zone 4. Electric point 25m away.
For everyone: large private parking for vehicles.
Sanitary facilities
2 dry toilets are available, as well as 2 outdoor showers, water at room temperature (in 2021). We are planning a solar hot water system for 2022.
Several water taps are accessible near the pitches.
For a real hot water shower (during the cold season only) we can lend one of our bathrooms.
The equipment
A large shared fridge (cool + freezer), dedicated to campers, is accessible at any time, without disturbing the owners.
For WiFi access, you have to get closer to the house.
Different electricity points are available outside: it is possible to pull an extension cord to recharge electronic equipment.
