About this location

An unusual night under the trees or traditional camping... Dare to embark on an adventure in the Marais Poitevin. My village is located in the countryside, in the heart of the Green Venice, on the Vélo Francette (V43) cycle route. Activities: You can explore the Marais Poitevin directly from my home on foot or by bike, or with my canoes (subject to availability) from the village port. My village is located on the Vélo Francette (V43) cycle route, in the heart of the Green Venice. I can guide you on all the activities available around my home, depending on your availability, the size of your group, and your preferences (boating, horseback riding, cycling, sightseeing). Tourist information is available. For city lovers, you can park in the center of Niort in 20 minutes. In an hour by car, you can also reach Futuroscope, Puy du Fou, La Rochelle, and the ocean. Here, the door opens to infinity and beyond... See you soon, we look forward to sharing and welcoming you. Other notes: Electricity is available in the kitchen for charging phones and bicycles, but not on the pitches! Pets and friends are not allowed on the campsite. Hours: Arrival from 2 pm, departure before 11 am, please. Two 3-seater canoes are available for a suggested donation and with no time limit, allowing you to explore the canals of the Marais. (Don't panic... a map will be provided, and for those who are more sensitive to the cold, a life jacket too!).

(supplement €5/day, please use my other unusual accommodation listing). In either case, don't forget to bring your sleeping bag! Only vans and small motorhomes are accepted; please contact me to check that your vehicle's dimensions are compatible with accessing the site. I do not offer motorhome services such as waste disposal and electricity hook-up, but you can go to the neighboring village 2km away. Sanitary facilities: 2 outdoor hot showers near the pool and 2 dry toilets. Amenities: Available to you: 11m x 6m swimming pool, relaxation area with sun loungers and hammocks, picnic table, and relaxation area. Tables and chairs for meals, outdoor kitchen area with sink, gas hob, dishes, basic supplies (salt, pepper, sugar, etc.), barbecue and refrigerator, kettle, toaster. You can plug in to charge phones, bike batteries, laptops, etc. There's a covered porch for storing bikes and/or an inner courtyard for parking your vehicle, a bike repair workshop, games, a swing set and merry-go-round for children.
