Discover the special Silver Coast of Portugal from your comfortable lodge tent.
Welcome to Silver Coast Glamping! Located in the beautiful Costa de Prata region, about an hour's drive north of Lisbon, close to the famous coastal towns of São Martinho do Porto and Nazaré.
Glamping or 'glamorous camping' means enjoying your (camping) holiday in a special accommodation. You are outside but you have all the convenience you can imagine.
Silver Coast Glamping consists of 3 tent lodges, a large swimming pool, a covered terrace with picnic tables and BBQ and a playing field. All this is spread over an area of no less than 1,800m2, large enough for plenty of space and privacy.
Our tent lodges have a double canvas tent and wooden inner walls. Each lodge has its own fully equipped kitchen (with induction hob, espresso machine, fridge freezer, microwave), and a bathroom with a luxurious rain shower. The bedrooms have good beds, and there is a veranda with a great view.
You will stay in a 4-person lodge. The large bedroom has a double bed (160x200), and the small bedroom has two single beds (each 80x200).
Of course, free WiFi is available.
On the grounds of the glamping are also a large swimming pool, a covered terrace with picnic tables and BBQ and a playing field.
The lodges are spread over 1,800 m2 of sloping grounds on the outskirts of Junqueira, a small village 10 minutes from the beach.
Close to the towns of Alcobaça, Nazaré and Caldas da Rainha on the Costa de Prata. With an hour's drive you are in Lisbon, which is definitely worth a trip!
The Costa de Prata in central Portugal is seen by many as the most attractive part of Portugal. Rich in culture, but also great for walking or relaxing by the sea. And in the evening barbecue yourself or go out for dinner in the many (often very cheap) restaurants in the area.

We -Geert and Iris Franken- fell in love with Portugal years ago. We thought it would be fun to live there after we turned 65. But why wait so long? When we couldn't give a good answer to that, we decided to take the plunge and start a project on the Costa de Prata, which we believe is the most beautiful part of Portugal. We started Casas Fruta in 2009, and since 2017 we are the proud owners of Silver Coast Glamping. You are very welcome!
