About this location

OUR FARM
The farm is built around an old mill, on one hectare of land, crossed by a stream. We have been raising organic snails since 2016, which we prepare and sell on the farm or in producer stores. At the same time, we cultivate a large food garden for preparing snails, for guest tables, and for our own consumption. We also raise a few chickens, ducks, and rabbits. We also have two donkeys that graze on about 3 hectares. All this little world is watched over by our cat and dog, who love cuddles.
CAPACITY
Coline and Pierre welcome you for a peaceful stay at the farm. You can stay in the mini-gîte (for 3 people), in a guest room (up to 4 people), in the unusual accommodation (2 people), or pitch your tent on the campsite (up to 20 people). We have a large covered area of 150m² with a kitchenette, sofas, banquet tables, a bar, and more.
Aside from the refreshment bar and the table d'hôtes (evenings only), there are no additional costs on site. Everything is included in the price: use of bicycles, washing machine, games, parking, electricity, etc.
THE CAMPSITE
Between the stream and the snail parks, choose where to set up your canvas in the field: in the cool of the stream, in the shade of an elderberry tree, well placed to enjoy the sun's rays, or in a quiet little corner.
THE DOME
On sunny days, the dome pokes out its shell and overlooks the snails. This 12m² geodesic structure, sparkling with originality and respecting the environment, can accommodate two people for an unusual night in the heart of nature.
RESTAURANT AND REFRESHMENT
Every evening during the summer, we offer a communal table d'hôtes. The menu features garden vegetables and local produce, organic whenever possible. Prices are around €20 depending on the menu.
On Thursdays, the meal focuses on snails (€29).
We also offer wood-fired pizzas, burgers and other themed menus on certain evenings.
Every Sunday we offer a concert evening accompanied by hot farm sandwiches, cooked over a wood fire.
The refreshment bar is open every evening and offers local beer on tap, wines and soft drinks.
ACTIVITIES ON SITE
Several hikes are possible, starting from the mill.
We also provide bicycles free of charge.
Several outdoor games are available (mölky, cube, Breton puck).
There is also everything you need to relax on site: hammock, deck chairs, river.
It is also possible to follow the self-guided tour around the snail parks.
Life here is peaceful and you can stay in complete tranquility!!
ACTIVITIES IN THE SURROUNDING AREA
The proximity to the Pays des Lacs allows for refreshing swims (30 minutes to 1 hour by road).
Visits are also possible to the Pont des Vents mill, Gigny Abbey and other churches and castles.
Numerous hikes and some cycling loops are also accessible.
