About this location

We are open from Easter to the end of September. The 1,666 m² site is exclusively for you and the chickens; no other travelers are allowed besides your group or family. Located at the top of the Vully region in the Vaudois department, in a hamlet just outside Vallamand-Dessus, Le Tertre is our little slice of paradise, a haven of peace and magnificent views. The children's playground is 500m away, complete with 10 pétanque courts! Activities include playing with the chickens and geese that roam freely on the property; taking a walk along the "Tour du Bois" trail with stunning views of Lakes Neuchâtel and Murten, as well as the Swiss Alps; and exploring by electric bike, which allows you to climb the 100m elevation gain from the shores of Lake Murten or Neuchâtel, for example, to reach the beach, or to cycle the 30km loop around Lake Murten.

This plot is long and practical for setting up and setting down campers, but not very practical for large awnings on the side. It's fine for one night, but not for a week's holiday.

No sanitary facilities on this plot, but possibility of emptying chemical toilets on the plot of other vehicles or tents 300m away, with a washbasin and cold water.

A nice flat place between our fruit trees to place the minibus, then different places to set up the children's tents, set up a nice big table that we provide as well as a bowl to make a fire or a charcoal grill to grill your sausages. (wood available for the fire)
For large camper vans, another place 150m away, still on our flat property with a view of the two lakes, is easier to access (fewer fruit trees, easier to access)
The toilets
In the charming "cabin", which began to be built in the 1950s, we installed a dry toilet with wood shavings and toilet paper, a sink for rinsing dentures with cold drinking water with a drain, and a mirror, tell me who is the prettiest!
The equipment
New 2023 kitchen with double gas stove available, saucepan, frying pan, dishes, eating utensils, glassware, fridge with small freezer, wood for the fire available fire bowl with sausage grill, table for 8 people with 4 chairs, deckchair, available, in "the shed" in case of rain, dry sofa, table and bench for eating in the dry, electricity on request but free, Wifi you have to move 150m on our terrace for wifi access but you are on vacation so it is not all day, and for the rest you ask and we arrange it.

A small, self-assembling 2-person tent!
If there is a big storm or bad weather, "the cabin" is there to shelter you and eat, it's up to you, you're on vacation! Live happily, live joyfully, treat yourself and become old but happy!

We are in the middle of nature, with two white geese roaming freely in the large orchard and a beautiful garden, all without treatment or pesticides. We enjoy sharing our corner of the earth with you for a few days.
