La Bassotta: talking about permaculture and climbing
About this campspace #s001986
La Bassotta is a villa located in a quiet neighborhood in the middle of Valgandino.
Its an ideal support point for discovering the province of Bergamo and for sightseeing, relaxing, enjoying typical food, hiking and climbing. We are just a few minutes from the old village of Gandino (with its Basilica and Museum), 15 minutes from Monte Farno (with its scenic trails) and from the small city of Clusone, 30 minutes from the city of Bergamo, the amazing mountain of Presolana and the Iseo Lake.
If you aspire to an eco-friendly lifestyle, or if you are interested in permaculture, sociocracy and the Transition Towns movement, at our property we can talk about it for a long time...
And if you are a climber, within half an hour you will find dozens of crags, and I can offer you many useful tips...
Available services: there is a small independent and always accessible building with toilet, sink and solar shower (hot water only when it's sunny!). Wi-Fi available near the house, table and chairs under the porch, loungers, electricity in the WC building and under the porch, extension cord, possibility of recharging devices; bus-stop at 300 meters, rail station and Bergamo airport at about 30 minutes by car with transfer possibility.
Possibility of visiting local organic farmers and buying their products.

La Bassotta is not a campsite but a private home :-) Please contact me in advance to agree on your arrival time for check-in, thank-you. I read e-mails once a day and I don't live with a mobile phone in my hand :-) So don't expect an immediate response to every message you send me, please! Thanks for understanding.
