About this location

This small-scale nature campsite is located in the beautiful nature of the Friese Wouden. The Friese Wouden is not yet very touristy and therefore suitable for nature lovers and peace seekers. Each camping pitch is green, spacious and has a magnificent view. The camping spots are on the back part close to the forest strip. The camping area has a large pond on one side, and meadows on the other where horses, deer and hares can be seen. You can rent mountain bikes (17.50 per day) and join pilates yoga classes (7.50 per class). Cycling routes directly from the campsite. The campsite has a fenced playing field for dogs, a large pond and a forest strip. You can use a bread and breakfast service.
Lauwersmeer nature reserve and the Wadden Islands are close by. Swimming in wide stretch of water at 5 minutes drive or large lake at 15 minutes drive. Shops for groceries within cycling distance. Cozy cities such as Dokkum or Leeuwarden nearby.
