About this location

Our campsite is a natural camping spot right in the heart of the historic Eleven Cities town of IJlst. The conveniences of a village on your doorstep and the experience of a green oasis. Our small-scale site is perfectly suited for tents and campervans. Thanks to the many shrubs and trees, unique nooks have been created, offering something for everyone! And the best is yet to come: all of this is situated on the Frisian waters—specifically, the navigable waterway between Sneek and Heeg. So, if you wish to arrive by boat, that is also possible. You can moor at our swimming jetty, where guests can take a refreshing dip. Centrally located on the grounds, you will find our vegetable garden and the communal canopy tent, a cozy meeting place. Our site is completely smoke-free. We also have facilities for campers traveling with fewer people, such as a refrigerator in the toilet block. IJlst is the perfect base for discovering Friesland by both water and road. There are plenty of opportunities to rent a boat in both Sneek and Heeg; ask us about the most beautiful routes!
