About this campspace
We are centrally located between the cities of Straubing, Cham and Viechtach, on the edge of the Bavarian Forest above the village of Stallwang, whose village square is about a 5-minute walk away.
In addition to a bakery, butcher's shop, pharmacy, Edeka household goods store, bus stop... the village square also offers a pub serving good local cuisine.
As already described, our small farm is located slightly above the edge of the village with a beautiful view on the southern slope of the Gallnerberg. Since we only have two alpacas and cats, it is also very quiet. Central but still secluded.
Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a leash.
After a hike of about 30-45 minutes, you will be on our local mountain, which, depending on the weather, offers a view of the Alps. We are right on the Goldsteig hiking trail and there are also small circular hiking trails and a castle ruin that can be explored.
The parking space itself is located under the former stables on a paved path that can be easily reached from the street.
A fireplace with a swivel grill invites you to grill. The wood is of course included.
We offer up to three parking spaces on our yard at the same time (distance from each other about 30 meters). If you have more than one vehicle, please contact us in advance.

About 7 minutes on the village square is the Gasthaus zur Post and a small pizzeria, which also serves Indian dishes. Great value for money!

Guests who cancel at least 3 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). Otherwise they will not be refunded.
Rules
Quiet hours from 10 p.m. Dogs are very welcome. If you have children, please remember that we are on a mountain and surrounded by steep slopes. Fires are only allowed in the designated area and never unattended.
