About this location
Hello everyone,
We would like to briefly introduce you to our small mountain farm in the beautiful Bavarian Forest. We are located between the towns of Straubing, Cham, and Viechtach, on the edge of the Bavarian Forest, above the village of Stallwang (94375), whose village square is about a 5-minute walk away. In addition to a bakery, pharmacy, household goods store, and bus stop, the village square also houses a restaurant serving traditional cuisine and a pizzeria. As already mentioned, our small farm is located slightly higher than the village, with a wonderful view of the southern slope of the Gallnerberg.
Since we only keep two alpacas and cats, it's incredibly quiet here. Centrally located yet secluded. Dogs are welcome.
After a hike of approximately 30 to 45 minutes, you'll reach our local mountain, which, depending on the weather, offers views of the Alps. We're a starting point for hiking and mountain biking tours, and the Goldsteig trail also passes through our property. There are also castle ruins nearby to explore.
Our property can accommodate up to three vehicles at a time. The maximum distance of approximately 30 meters between vehicles ensures privacy. One parking space is located below the old stable, along a grassy, paved path and is easily accessible from the road. Another parking space is located above the farm (currently only accessible to vehicles under 6.4 m in length) and offers views of the meadow and the village center. The third parking space is located below the farm, next to the alpaca pasture.
A fire pit with a grill is available. Wood is available for a donation. Restrooms, electricity (6 A), drinking water, and wastewater disposal/bio-toilet are available or possible. Wi-Fi is available in the garden and in front of the house. Behind the house, there is a hot water shower, which you are welcome to use.
For cozy evenings and in bad weather, a lovely common room with a fully equipped kitchen, Swedish stove, and satellite TV is available. Upon arrival, you'll receive a short tour of the farm.
Please note that quiet hours begin at 10 p.m. If you have children, please be aware that we are located on a mountain and surrounded by steep slopes.

About 7 minutes on the village square is the Gasthaus zur Post and a small pizzeria, which also serves Indian dishes. Great value for money!

Cancellation Policy
Guests who cancel at least 3 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). Otherwise they will not be refunded. If the host does not accept the reservation, guests will receive a full refund.
