About this location

Our campspace is a small oasis among the meadows of Midden Delfland (Schipluiden) close to the cities of the Randstad. By bike it is 45 minutes to Rotterdam/The Hague, 25 minutes to Delft and Schiedam, and the beach is also easily accessible. Between the trees you can see the skylines of these cities. At the end of the willow lane you will find our historic farmhouse. You can pitch your tent among the fruit trees or near the vegetable garden. We also have a furnished polder lodge and a retro De Waardtent (both 4-person). Enjoy the green landscape with birds, geese, cows, horses, croaking frogs and fantastic sunrise/sunset (for beautiful photos). The chickens roam around and lay an egg every morning. Our cats Gijs and Kees and dog Guus also like to visit you for some company. The rabbits Dille & Kamille love to cuddle. In the herb garden you can pick herbs to make your food even tastier or brew a nice tea. There is also a central fire pit for an evening fire.

Next to the hay barn is our new pipowagen with 2 good showers/2 toilets/urinal/sink and a dishwashing area. There is also a shed with fridge/oven/coffee maker/kettle and books and games.
And of course we are here to inform you about the area and things to do.

We are Angela and Leon and are happy to welcome camping guests via Campspace for the 3rd year. We love to tell you about beautiful Midden Delfland and we are also well known in Delft. Angela loves cooking with vegetables/fruit from the vegetable garden so who knows, you might be able to join us sometime! And on Saturday it is usually pizza day. Let us know in advance.

Tips

  • Bring your bike, it's easier for all the narrow roads and there is so much to discover.

  • visit historic Delft or take a boat trip through the jenever town of Schiedam

  • Many regional products from local farmers are sold along the roads. In Delft there is a goods market on Thursdays and an antiques market along the canals on Saturdays during the summer season

  • Along the Vlaardingse Vaart (2.5 km) is Brasserie Vlietzicht with a beautiful view

Cancellation Policy

Guests who cancel at least 3 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). Otherwise they will not be refunded. If the host does not accept the reservation, guests will receive a full refund.

Rules

- At the driveway there are sometime horses/sheep/dogs walking, so please drive slowly (15km/hour) - After 21h00 do not drive the car - There's no Wi-Fi - Please, separated waste disposal every day - Corona: stay at home if you are feeling sick and keep distance at 1.5 m
