About this location

On our food forest in the making (of 1 ha) is a quiet place where you can pitch your tent. We have a compost toilet for our guests and an outside tap. You can borrow a bucket, for example to wash yourself. This makes you feel detached from "normal" facilities. Tjalleberd is close to Heerenveen. There is also the possibility to swim at various locations about 5 km from our house. We have a tandem and 2 bicycles for rent and a vegetable garden and strawberries from the open ground from July to September. Vegetables, strawberries and eggs are for sale, if available. One km away is a milk tap at an organic dairy farm. You can use bottles from us. Various walks can be made from our location, mostly unpaved. If we have time, we would like to give you a tour of our site. If you stand in front of our house, you cannot see the land. This gives a surprise effect ;-) A cozy seat has been made of tree trunks at the camping site. Bye! Nelleke and Peter
