About this location

In the middle of the Hoeksche Waard you will find our beautiful garden. This almost 5000m2 is too nice not to share with you.
The camping garden is the back part of our garden and has 6 tent spots. With us you can just go back to basics.
Pitch the tent, gaze at the stars and make a fire!
Under the shade of 4 large plane trees you can relax in a hammock or find a spot at the picnic table. In the middle of the field is a communal fire pit.
The toilet building is equipped with a compost toilet and a nice shower with hot water. You can do the dishes and/or brush your teeth under cover, there is also a double socket for chargers and a small fridge for general use.
You can park your car in the parking lot next to our house. Feel free to grab a wheelbarrow there to bring your stuff to the back.
The Hoeksche Waard is known for its many walking and cycling routes but also has many cozy restaurants and (farm) shops. Discover the many nature reserves that this beautiful island has to offer, such as De Staart and the nature island Tiengemeten.
Our small but nice village itself has something to offer. There is a supermarket with a good bread department less than 10 minutes walk away. In the Windlust corn mill there is a pet shop where you can buy some regional products and flour and pancake mix turned by the mill itself.
The beach of Westmaas is also worth a visit. On a warm day you can cool off in the water of the Binnenmaas. You could also rent a sloop to explore the Binnenmaas from the water.
Every Tuesday morning there is a small market on the church square.
Or maybe a day in town?
Rotterdam and Dordrecht, both cities with their own character, can be reached within half an hour by car.

Here in Westmaas we found the perfect place for our dreams, peace and space for our family, a garage to tinker with vintage cars, a vegetable garden and a fantastic large garden. We would like to share this garden with you!
