We really enjoyed our two days in Maredsous.
We were welcomed pleasantly and were given the freedom to settle in.
The host was welcoming, friendly and his place inspiring.
He was happy to have a chat but left us alone :)

Chickens, sheep, a vegetable garden, a forest and a wide view combined with a clean sanitary block.

The ideal combination of peace and pleasure.
We couldn't really wish for more.

We had a wonderful time with three friends with Luc, a very warm, calm man.
The beautiful grounds contain all the basics for living outside for a few days.
Ideal for nice walks or to observe birds and game.
We will be back for sure!

Our stay with Luc in Florennes (Rosée) was in tip-top order, with a very friendly host and wife. We had breakfast with it and this was great, with fresh fruit juice, nice coffee, etc.
Definitely worth repeating!

This incredible chalet was our home for a few days. Not only was Luc a very welcoming host giving us plenty of space, he was happy to show us around his beautiful grounds and telling us stories of times before and his plans for the future. We were lucky it snowed so we had a great winter experience in this giant self-built (!) chalet with a wood stove inside, made almost entirely of wood and covered in snow next to a pine forest. We enjoyed the fairytale atmosphere of the bathroom. The kitchen suited all our needs and had a view on the two adorable sheep. The place is in close proximity to some lovely walks. We made a small hike around the monastery of Maredsous which was an amazing sight in the snow. The area around the chalet also had plenty of nature to enjoy. We will definitely be back in springtime when the permaculture fruit and vegetable garden is blooming. No complaints whatsoever!

We had a few super nice days in Chalet Rosée. Everything was there and looked very good. The fireplace, the lights and lots of wood make it super cozy. There were beautiful trails in the area and the large soaking tub after a long day of hiking was lovely. The host is also very nice, very hospitable and likes to show the whole site, including sheep and chickens. We will definitely be back!

Wow! What a picturesque chalet in a blissful, peaceful location. I was warmly welcomed and shown around. Very warm landlords, always available for your questions or for a nice chat!
Also a round of applause for the host for helping me so extensively with driving in the snow. And an adventure in itself!
The ideal place to recharge your batteries or as a base for a nice stay with friends or family!
I will definitely come back!
Ps Beautiful walk in the woods with a babbling brook is also highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay in Luc's Chalet.
The chalet is wonderfully furnished with even a large bath for two people on the first floor.
The chalet was warmed up with the fireplace. Once it was well underway, you were nice and warm!
A must for anyone who likes socializing far away from the hustle and bustle.

It was a very nice week in a beautiful location. Luc immediately made us feel welcome upon arrival and gave us a short tour of his garden.
The chalet was spacious, cozy and warm on arrival.
You are immediately in the forest to walk for hours. Maredsous Abbey is also a beautiful place.
Anyway ... they will definitely see us again.

Our very first Campspace experience was one with 5 stars. Our goal: Two days with the backpack in full corona times. Nature, good company and a unique overnight stay. And the latter was a bull's eye. The chalet is a gem, real craftsmanship and can be in a Scandinavian, American or Canadian travel brochure under the topic 'into the wild'. Everything is there and you get a topper from a host on top. A tour of the vegetable garden, an explanation about the chalet and a pleasant chat. Just for his passionate storytelling you go back. Tip: Approach the chalet on foot from the woods for the ultimate away-from-the-world feeling. Thank you Luc and campspace for this discovery! We will be back for sure!

This is the perfect place if you want to relax in the middle of nature. The fact that you cannot receive coverage or 4G at the camping pitch is a plus 😉 Luc is a very sympathetic host, contact by email and telephone went very smoothly. I recommend this place 200%.

I went with my best friend, we both really loved it. Luc himself was super friendly, we immediately felt welcome and received a really warm welcome and he was open to our questions. You could see that he wanted to help us when we needed him, but the location was also fantastic. Super nice view, super quiet. It was almost the only house on the track, which made it really remote. Nice view of fields, but also of forests. Perfect starting point for various walks that also offer variety in both woods and fields. It was really fun. The toilets were very clean, showers too. Only the fighter jets that flew over every now and then. We enjoyed it. It was really worth it. We have already told several people to go there. That it is also super close to Durbuy for example. Could be perfect to spend the night there and then add another day to Durbuy. So we are really super positive. It was also the first time we had left with Campspace. Very pleasantly surprised. If we go again, we'll go back to Luc anyway. We are already looking forward to a new adventure.

Beautiful quiet location, very remote, accessible via a country road. Friendly host Luc, who gave us a tour of his domain, vegetable garden ....
Military airport in Florennes, where fighter planes often pass by, but we thought this was more of an extra attraction than annoying noise pollution.
A walk (or mountain bike) in the direction of France is possible via the country road through a forest.

Far enough from civilization you arrive here in an oasis of peace. Luc guides you with pride and visible passion through his domain, where there is room for an attractive chalet, a green camping area, a creative sanitary block, a duo of sheep and an inventive vegetable garden, which will make you feel right at home. All this is flanked by a wide rolling landscape that is bathed in the evening red at night.
The chalet is warm and simply furnished and offers accommodation and sufficient facilities for 10 people. Outside is enough space for relaxation and rest without disturbing others. The chalet and accompanying camping site are an ideal base for starting walks in the area or for discovering many interesting places in the wider area.

Luc is a very warm, fun and welcoming guy, so is his self-built chalet. Me and my girlfriend had a great time exploring the surroundings and then coming back to his cozy camping. A tip: ask for visiting his food garden ;)
