About this location

A beautiful spot nestled among the orchards in the flower-filled Zak van Zuid-Beveland. There is one pitch for one camper (so no tents or caravans), which is entirely self-sufficient. There is no electricity, toilet, shower facilities, or waste disposal. But you do get a 700-square-meter spot all to yourself! And if you wish, eggs from our chickens, jam from our orchard, or honey from our bees. You can purchase these from us on-site, while supplies last. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed due to other animals roaming freely on our grounds. Enjoy lovely walks and bike rides along winding old dikes. The Westerschelde is nearby, where beautiful, and often enormous, ships sail past. Enjoy the sunset at your own spot, or by the sea.

Together with our three cats, twenty-six chickens and a few thousand honeybees we live in one of the most beautiful places in Zeeland. Situated between the pear orchards, on the flower dikes in the Zak van Zuid-Belevand.

Tips

  • Go for a walk (with or without a guide) in the Zwaakse Weel nature reserve (6 km)

  • Every day is different on the beach at the Westerschelde (5.5 km). Follow a Pilates lesson on Wednesday evenings at d'n Ostpit in Oudelande (1.3 km).

  • The nearest shop is in Ovezande (3.4 km). Larger supermarkets are in Heinkenszand (9.1 km) and Goes (14.6 km).

  • Enjoy a drink in a relaxed atmosphere or a tasty and good meal in d'n Ostpit in Oudelande (1.3 km)

  • You can enjoy delicious food on the banks of the Westerschelde at De Landing in Baarland.
