About this location

Experience a timeless escape on a protected natural island, accessible only by boat, in the heart of Amiens' legendary floating gardens. A rare, intimate, and unspoiled haven, designed for those who dream of disconnecting, immersing themselves in unspoiled nature, and enjoying gentle adventures… just 15 minutes from the city center. Here, there's no typical camping: few people, plenty of space, no cars, no cell service, but 100% nature. You'll sleep in a tipi tent set up on a terrace, enjoy a hammock under the willow trees, a solar shower, a campfire area, and a large woodcraft thatched hut. All this within a Natura 2000 protected area where biodiversity reigns supreme. Whether you're traveling solo, as a couple, with family, or with friends, come and experience a rejuvenating weekend, a nature immersion, or a mini-adventure, scout-style. The islet is located in the heart of the Art & Gardens trail, and you can alternate between rowing, canoeing, walks, culture, and Amiens' gastronomy, depending on your mood. A simple, authentic, and unique place, lovingly and respectfully created by Valérie and Olivier, to reconnect with what truly matters.

We are Valérie and Olivier, a couple of nature lovers, former leaders with the Scouts and Guides of France, and a bit "bourgeois bohemian." Let's just say we love beauty, nature, travel, and authentic encounters. We'll welcome you, and after a short tour, we'll leave you to enjoy your adventure as a couple, family, or group of friends. Arrival and departure are self-guided. In any case, we're available to answer any questions.
