About this campspace #s002852
Hunza ecolodge is a small-scale tourist facility, close to nature and with respect for nature. We provide eco-friendly accommodation with all modern comfort at the border of the forest, in a little village, Bodolyabér. Our 1 ha of land is designed with the greatest care to host a maximum of 16 people with attention for private zones and communal places, brightened by a big variety of edible and medicinal plants.
Your hosts will operate as passionate guides to let you discover the most beautiful places in the surroundings. At the Hunza ecolodge an assortment of seasonal organic fruits and vegetables, home-made bread and other products is available. Twice a week delicious food is cooked in our enjoyable home cooking evenings.
From the land, you can directly walk or cycle into the forest through which several swim and fishing lakes can be reached. At 2 km from the lodge medicinal thermal baths are located and nearby there is the city of Pécs, a vibrant cultural hotspot, Unesco World Heritage. The region around Hunza, called Baranya, is the most Southern part of Hungary blessed with lush green hills, 4 beautiful seasons and an outstanding summer. Feel welcome and be enchanted by this unique place!

We are Milady & Roeland and our two sons, Nándor & Huba. We're passionate about nature and the environment and fell in love under the apple tree at Hunza Ecolodge. Over the past few years we ran organic events catering and travelled before eventually moving from Belgium to Bodolyabér to live out their dream of raising a family close to nature in this place which means so much to us.
Milady is a calm, strong woman with a big heart for people, herbs and plants whilst Roeland is a keen gardener and chef. Our two children both love to dance and learn all about the animals and plant life at Hunza - they especially enjoy tasting all the plants in the garden!
