About this campspace

In the countryside between the cities of Zutphen, Deventer and Apeldoorn, our small, rustic orchard is located on a narrow country road. The orchard consists of several dozen fruit trees; apple and pear trees, cherries, damsons, plums and also blackberries can be found there. The orchard is loved by people and animals. Cyclists know how to find a resting place in the orchard, but little owls, buzzards and deer are also regular guests. In addition, our Drentse Heidesheep and Ouessant sheep graze the orchard. In the small gypsy wagon in the orchard you will find two toilets, a small sink and a power point to charge a telephone.

The orchard is available for basic campers with a small tent. We are happy to share this unique place with you and we like it when you can relax here, you have the entire orchard to yourself. The starting point is therefore peace and relaxation and respect for nature.

Perfect for...

Back-to-basic: perfect for the tougher camper, who likes to camp alone with a bunch of sheep in an orchard. Don't forget your flashlight and leave your shampoo at home!

Hello, we are Bart & Nandy, Erik & Yvonne and have a beautiful orchard at our farm for real peace seekers. We like to share that place with someone else!

Tips

  • Fancy orchard juice? We sell 5 liters of our own organic juice for 11 euros. Can be stored for 2 months after opening.

  • Visit the ruins of Nijenbeek Castle, guided tours are available once every two weeks (July to October). View historic Zutphen, walk the Klompenpad, swim at (Thermen) Bussloo, cycle through the Achterhoek, get cheese from the neighbors (Saturday morning).

  • Thursday and Saturday market in Zutphen

  • In Zutphen you will find great entertainment options

  • In Voorst you will find a pancake farm and a strong house. There are several restaurants and cafes in Brummen and Zutphen.

What a beautiful hidden spot in the back of the orchard! Enjoyed the shade, the peace and tranquility. I was on a microadventure with one of my old motorcycles and spent the night here. I will surely come back again!

How was the contact with the host?
Fine. Quick response and warm welcome. Get acquainted and show the terrain. After that, the hostess leaves you alone, just the way I like it. If there is something you can always call or send a message.

Tips for new guests?
Just sit and look around. Enjoy the peace.

Lovely secluded place in an orchard. Yes, there are sheep and other animals around, you're in the heart of farmland. Good amenities and excellent tent spots! Also cute sheep!

How was the contact with the host?
Nandy was very responsive, greeted me at the agreed time and showed me the campsite and amenities.

Tips for new guests?
Ask the host if you can build a fire and bring your own firewood! There's an electric cattle by the toilet, so if you just want to boil water, you're covered, you can leave your camping gas cooker at home.

Nandy and Yvonne's campspace gives me a nicely private feeling since it is in the end corner of an orchard. together with you there are three cute lambs. this campspace provides 2 clean toilet, and one cabinet that has electricity sockets, water kettle and a koffee machine. they also provide fire-starter to make campfire, however, one needs to buy the wood for the campfire from the host.

How was the contact with the host?
efficient and fast.

Tips for new guests?
campfire is always nice.

Aanrader!

How was the contact with the host?
Perfect! Ze reageert altijd heel snel.

I spent 1 night with my daughter (14) and we both thought it was a really nice place. We set up our tent near the picnic table with the orchard on one side and a beautiful unobstructed view on the other. Nice fire in the evening, couldn't be better!

How was the contact with the host?
We were kindly received on arrival and we were shown what is available and what can be used (toilet block, kettle, garden chairs) on departure short contact and wish you a good trip. Totally fine.

Tips for new guests?
If we had come earlier, we would certainly have walked the clog path that Nandy pointed out to us. We did enter the village of Voorst which was a nice outing, about 20 minutes walk.

It was super calm and real spot. Surrournding by sheeps, birds and cows made a refreshing time, beside fruit trees and fog in the morning. It was like return to nature's Rousseau experience.

Very glad to have it try.

How was the contact with the host?
Yvonne was just so considerate, thoughtful and kind. The small cafe/tea bar was so cute and blessing after a long bike. She prepared everything to help me feel purity: taste some fruits from her field which were so real and delicious, and set the fire in the afternoon. Thanks a lot to her.

A few nights of peace & space in this lovely orchard. View of hares, circling storks, and a falcon dogfight with swallows and starlings.
The weather was changeable so we saw beautiful skies. In the evening we could make a nice fire.
The residents also give you peace and privacy. Our tent had a nice spot under the apple trees and next to a piece where some sheep are.
Don't mind not being able to shower for a few days.

How was the contact with the host?
Nandy communicated pleasantly and quickly. And Yvonne received us warmly and hospitably on the spot.

Tips for new guests?
To do!
And do you have a tarp? You can hang it above the picnic table on site, then you have a nice shade or rain-free spot

What a dream Campspace! The feeling of being alone in the world, a beautiful view, not a house in sight and lots of greenery. Sheep grazing in the orchard, being woken up in the morning by the chirping birds and baby falcons in a nest box that showed us their newly learned flying skills in the morning. Nandy has thought of everything to make it comfortable for her guests; wood for the campfire for sale, cushions for the picnic table and for those who forgot to bring it, coffee in the morning! In short, a beautiful place with beautiful people. Recommended to everyone!

We had the orchard to ourselves. Wonderfully so peaceful! We were received very friendly and also nice that we could use the kettle. It rained a lot in the evening, but that didn't bother us. We had already been able to walk the nice clog path and could warm up later in the evening by the fire.
