About this campspace #s003694

Your host

Sophie

You can either relax with the birds singing or go for a hike.
Or you can either go and visit the cute city of Namur.
Our garden is very quiet as well as close to everything ! It's wonderful to live here.
At your disposal : chairs, pic nic table, parasol, water, and in the morning some fresh coffee :)

Note : parking is on the street (small quiet street). No car, van or else allowed to go into the garden.
REMINDER : no toilet ! please choose a spot in the garden (lots of hidden ones) that is not a pathwalk, and do not let your toilet paper on the ground. That would be very much appreciated by the nature, and by us ! :-)

Sophie's garden was great, as was Sophie! We thought it was so kind that she offered coffee in the morning, and was happy to put it out (with milk and sugar in cute little jars) on the back steps for us when it worked for us. We had a lovely, quiet camping night there and would definitely return if we end up passing through Namur!

How was the contact with the host?
Great! Super responsive.

We had a lovely one night stay at Sophie's garden.
Christine gave us a warm welcome and good tips to spend the day.
The garden itself is large enough so there's enough privacy.
And it feels like you're out in nature but it's also close to the city.

We've spent an amazing time at this place, even if it was raining.
Sophie and her mother are so friendly. Christine explained to us how we can do a great trip in Namur.
There is plenty of space, even for the biggest tent, but it should be mentioned before booking that you must park your car on the street.

We recommend this place :)

The campspace in Namur was in a small garden. The hostess was super friendly and gave us a lot of tips of things to do in the area. Too bad there were no toilets. Originally solved by giving us a bottle with a hole with warm water to "shower" us. Very warm reception! It is also not far from the city, so you can basically go there on foot.

We stayed at Sophie's garden for one night to spend the day in Namur and the day after in Dinant. Sophie and her mom were very nice and friendly. They tried to speak Dutch for us, but since we didn't have a problem with understanding French, we communicated in their language.

The piece of garden that was reserved for us was magical with lots of plants, trees and bushes. We had a lot of privacy and had no contact with the hosts or their house until they came out to greet us, give us tips or say goodbye. There was a perfect balance.

They foresaw enough water to drink and to refresh and clean ourselves with. There was also a small table with two chairs and a parasol for a nice quiet evening and morning. In the morning we got this cute little basket with coffe, sugar and milk.

In short, Sophie and her mom made sure we had a perfect one night stay in a beautiful garden with great service.

Definitely a camp place to return to.

We had a wonderful experience. The garden was huge and it felt very much like being in nature. Our host gave us great recommendations and fresh coffee in the morning. We would definitely love to camp at Sophie's again whenever we are back in Namur.
