About this campspace

Our idyllic farm is located in a secluded location in the middle of the Lommatzscher Pflege, an agricultural region in the heart of Saxony. Here, rabbits and foxes still say "good night". Far away from the noise and everyday stress of city life, you can relax and enjoy nature to the fullest. You can choose between a paved parking space on the edge of the farmyard and a parking space on the meadow with a clear view over the fields.
Welcome to Gutshof Dobschütz! On our small family-run farm we keep cattle, horses, donkeys, sheep, geese, chickens and cats. We treat our animals with trust and attach great importance to keeping them in a species-appropriate manner. Of course, all of our animals have a name and we know their character and preferences.
Shortly after 8am, the ever-popular farm tour with farmer Martina takes place, where young and old are welcome to help with the animal care: letting the chickens out, feeding the horses, giving cows water, filling up hay nets for donkeys, driving sheep to the pasture...
The listed Dobschütz estate has a long history. The oldest building dates from 1699, the main house with the holiday apartment was built in 1799. Dobschütz is a district of Nossen and with only 6 inhabitants, probably the smallest town in Saxony. At the end of 2018, we fulfilled our big dream of owning our own farm by purchasing the estate.

Do I have to register for the animal care session? No, it always takes place and everyone is welcome to take part (even spontaneously).
Can I book a donkey trek? Of course, this can be done spontaneously here on site.
Every morning and evening, young and old can take part in the animal care rounds (feeding chickens, driving sheep to pasture, bringing water to donkeys, taking horses to pasture, etc.)
Tame and cuddly animals on the farm (chickens, geese, sheep, donkeys, horses, cows, cats)
Historic, listed estate in an absolutely secluded location in the middle of fields and meadows (deer, foxes and other wild animals can often be seen)
Beautiful starry sky due to lack of light pollution (no street lamps)
Beautiful, heated family bathroom with shower, toilet and sink
small playground with slide, trampoline, swings, sandpit, children's toys
Fresh eggs can be purchased
We only rent out one pitch for wonderful peace and quiet in nature. You can choose between a pitch in the middle of the green meadow with a view over the fields and a paved pitch on the edge of the farmyard.

Cancellation Policy

Guests who cancel at least 14 days before check-in will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excluding Campspace fees). If they cancel between 7 and 14 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded.

The donkeys are very quiet and only do their IAH once or twice a day. The other pitch is paved and is right on the edge of our yard next to the chicken coop (pictures to follow). The rooster crows in the morning at sunrise.
Electricity is free up to 10kWh/day. Since we have our own biological sewage treatment plant, it is not possible to empty your chemical toilet with us.
