The plot is partly fenced and suitable for tents. The surface is grass.
We live in the wooded north of the cycling province par excellence, Limburg. There are several marked cycling and walking routes in our municipality. Cycling between the trees is just under 10 kilometers away. There are cycling brochures available.
Camping spot is easily accessible by public transport. Overpelt station is within walking distance. And nearby is a bus port.

Perfect for...

Our camping spot is very suitable for groups of up to 16 people. Nature lovers are also in the right place with us because we live near several large nature reserves such as Bosland and the Malpies.

We allow 2 small dogs or 1 large dog. The dog(s) must be able to get along with other dogs. We have a closed off area in our garden where the goats are. Your dog can stay here if you want to go out without him. Please respect the neighbors' night's rest, so quiet between 10pm and 8am. No loud music, we enjoy the peace in our neighborhood. Keep it neat and clean. Borrowed material is returned clean. Garbage can be deposited in the bin for a fee, garbage bags are provided. Green waste can be put on the compost heap for free.

Tips

  • Cycling between the trees in Hechtel is an absolute must!

  • The Hageven is a beautiful nature reserve where wild horses and bison roam freely.

  • The best bakery in the country is right next to us, Brud by Kwanten-Vanesch! And if you fancy a delicious (vegan) cupcake you can always go to 't Suikerhuys.

  • Be sure to enjoy a beer at 't 8e Sacrament right by the church. And if you cross the street you will end up at 't Pelterke, a beautiful playground with a lovely terrace.

  • A 5-minute walk takes you to the cozy village center of Overpelt. Here you have several restaurants and cafes.
