About this campspace #s002006
Come spend some time with the goats at Goat House Farm (and the chickens, ducks, and a pig!).
We are a located in a rural area of Tallahassee, along the Florida Big Bend Scenic Byway and surrounded by the beautiful Lake Talquin State Forest. Great fishing and hiking trails and beautiful sunsets. Two Trailwalkers and one Trailtrotter trails are just minutes away. There is also a 10-mile Lines Bike Trail. See trail maps in our photos!
We are located at the end of a 3/4 mile dirt road off Highway 20/Blountstown Hwy on the lake. We are about twenty five minutes from FSU stadium - straight shot!
We have a tent site #1 near the goat nursery (that you may sometimes share with new kids!), site #2 along the forest easement (this is closest to the bathhouse and laundry), and site #3 on the edge of Lake Talquin State Forest looking over the lake (this one is a short trail from the main property). An extension cord can be run to sites #1 and #2 for electric if needed. Dogs are welcome at all but site #1 and off leash is fine as long as they don't chase animals along the fence!
We provide water, wifi, laundry, fresh eggs and milk, and fresh fruits and veggies for the picking when available. Farm fresh breakfast and coffee or tea delivered to your site in the morning (let us know if you are vegetarian or vegan). There are also two kayaks available for use. Fire ring, camp stove, and communal fridge for ice available.
We have a small bath house with hot shower and a composting toilet. Soap and fresh towels provided.
Message us for veterans and 4H/FFA discount.
We can also offer a two person tent at no additional charge if you need more space or are car camping.
Check-in/Check-out time is flexible depending upon concurrent bookings!
