  • There are beautiful nature walks, namely the green spots of Haspengouw

  • The antique market in Tongeren every Sunday morning

  • Foodstore Mas in the next village offers bread, toppings, ready-made meals, picnic.

  • Boef in Tongeren is a nice tapas restaurant. Also d'Entrecote in Wimmertingen or Borgloon is very tasty. Nice ice cream? Melone in Hoeselt. Delicious fries nearby? Frituur De Loo.

Waste is collected separately. There are underground filtration systems where wastewater is used, such as in the shower. The wood is sustainably recycled wood from local old fruit crates. As much as possible of the interior fittings, furniture, etc., consists of items given a second life rather than being entirely new. The wood used for construction is recycled wood instead of new.
