About this location

Podere di Maggio is situated in the most wild and still original parts of Tuscany, in the foothills of Monte Amiata.
Here we have 4 canvas tents with a radius of 5 meters, placed on large wooden terraces. Each tent has total privacy and is situated under old chestnut and has a beautiful view on the landscape. Inside the tent you will find one double bed and two singles, carpets on the floor, electricity and water.
There is a big common kitchen with a private fridge and with everything that is needed for a pleasant stay.
Every tent has a private bathroom within 2-30 meters from the tent.
There is a natural swimming pool and also in the river at 10 minutes from here you can have a great bath in clean water.

Tips

  • The Etruscan sites at half an our from here are a must, as well as the hot springs of Saturnia and Bagni San Filippo.

  • Monte Labbro is a great site from where you have a beautiful view over a big part of Tuscany and the islands in front of the coast

  • There is a great wine bar in Santa Fiora with a good local choice

  • In this area you can eat very good for a really honest price
