Equipped tent
Experience peace and intensity in the middle of the forest in these fantastic tents with transparent tent fabric, which is located 1.5 m above the forest floor. Here you get nature completely under the skin without compromising on comfort.
The tents are built according to the glamping concept with good mattresses, clean bedding, chairs with cushions and what you need for ordinary cooking. Everything is taken care of - you just have to bring your own food and drinks.
The forest is privately owned and offers a very different and exciting vegetation. There is a grassy walkway around the area of 4.5 hectares. Otherwise, the forest stands wild and untouched with bills made by the forest animals. The area is located next to the municipal forest area Horsdalen, where there is a public campfire site.
There are two toilets which are shared by the visitors of the place. The campfire site is also common. It is also possible to cook in the tent over gas / tangria and there is a covered dining area (table and 2 chairs) at ground level.
In total there are 4 tents and 1 tipi, which is located with approx. 50 m distance, but without view to each other.
I look forward to welcoming you!

The forest tents are built based on a desire for an intense nature experience, where the forest forms the framework - not the tent cloth, after the glamping concept, where nature camping and luxury are combined. The forest tents are located at a height of 1.5 m for a very special view from the terrace over the fantastic forest area. The tents are equipped according to the recycling mindset and contribute to a climate-friendly holiday experience with low CO2 pressure. Incredibly calm, relaxing and stress-relieving overnight stay in the forest 🙏🏼
How was the contact with the host?
It was excellent - quick response...
Tips for new guests?
The only thing I lacked was a place to wash my hands with soap and water. So please bring water there. maybe an option to hang a canister with a tap by the super nice toilets!?

Fantastic experience! Wauw for a nice, peaceful place with a good distance to the nearby forest tents. We had sun on arrival, clear blue skies throughout the night and we woke up to birdsong. Nice beds, good fire pit for cooking, nice little lookout point where we found both currants, raspberries and blueberries. Total idyll

We had a nice visit in the nice tent. There was everything we needed and a lovely bed.
The only thing that was missing was the good weather ☀️ But it is now also nice to lie down and listen to the rain.

We had a wonderful stay and EVERYTHING was thought of. Even though it was raining in the late evening hours and at night (but not on arrival and the morning after), everything was dry and the sound of rain on the tent cloth was cozy. Will work for many seasons. We will definitely be back.

Very nice place, there was everything we needed, the other tent was nicely located so you could be yourself.
The ladder up to the tent was uncomfortable to walk / stand on, as the steps were very narrow

We wanted a boyfriend trip with peace and time to be just us. No children, no mobile, just peace.
This trip fully lived up to all our hopes and expectations. Incredibly beautiful surroundings with everything in the right spirit.
We will definitely see each other again and we will stay there all weekend.

Super beautiful place, absolutely magical to be able to lie in bed and look up at the trees and the sky 👌🏼 there is everything you need in the tent, cozy dining space, nicely felled campfire, chairs are set up in different places by a meadow where you can enjoy the sun. We really enjoyed our stay.

Authentic experience in nature, where the practical also works, such as ordering food, toilet facilities, lovely soft mattresses, etc. High praise from here and our best recommendations.
Greetings 4 x 50+ on our first, but not last glamping trip 😊

Truly a lovely place. Far from street lights and car noise. The forest tents are nicely wrapped in nature and sheltered.
There is everything you need for 2 people.
A really nice and complete welcome letter from the landlord Ina.
We will definitely come again🌞🌳

Lovely experience, cozy to lie in bed and look at nature. Peace and quiet, even though there were some in the other tents you do not hear them. Nice with bag toilet (we had not tried it before)
Super experience

I highly recommend Grønhøjsskovtelte!
We were there a single night and had pretty much rain most of the time, with the exception of an hour of sunshine. However, it was an absolutely amazing experience; we sat inside tents and listened to the rain all evening and I actually could not have imagined that it could have been better. A great way to get completely in gear and enjoy nature in a new way.
Everything was as it should be; clean tent and tableware, plenty of water, coffee and cocoa, dry cushions and nicely made beds in which you slept really well.
The host can also only be praised for being available with good guides before arrival and for being available for questions.
I can only recommend everyone to try a trip in the forest tents.

It is a luxury 'shelter' experience, in private and beautiful surroundings - and with a nice bed and with fragrant duvets that keep one well warm.
There is nothing missing in terms of service - both trangia and gas burner provide a great opportunity to cook and heat water for coffee etc.
The small common das with the bag toilet has toilet paper, bags and alcohol, and works flawlessly.
Warm clothes are a must, because they are outdoors.
Since the sun rises earlier as the days go by, it is a good idea to bring a sleeping mask so you can sleep a little longer despite the light :-)
I indulged myself in ordering their breakfast - and it was top notch enjoyment under the treetops!
Everything is primitively made - but with cosiness and good experience in mind - and you get it in full in this beautiful gem!
I will definitely come again :-)

We had a wonderful stay over Easter. The tents were located at a suitable distance in a peaceful forest and the facilities were super good. Ina sent a short and helpful information prior to our arrival, so we got all the questions answered - however, the paths were very narrow and a little hard to find in the semi-darkness. All in all, it was a very cozy place that I would definitely recommend to any glampist!

The campfire site uses briquettes that go a little beyond the natural at a campfire. The tents and toilets were clean and undisturbed. Everything was easy to find. We had a super cozy overnight stay and would love to come again another time. We could not find information about the possibilities of ordering catering which should be something new in 2021. The price of the briquettes was only announced after check-out but I wonder if it was not just because we started the season. The price was SEK 4 per briquette.

So beautiful somewhere in the middle of nowhere. If you really need peace of mind, this is the place to go.
Super nice forest cabin with everything you need; Small board games for the late hours, trangia for cooking, water bottle for the dishes and for boiling water for coffee, which is also available for the guest's use.
Super nice area with the possibility of a little hike in the woods.
Will definitely come out here again!

Fantastic and wonderful renewal of traveling a little more primitive than the normal “hotel feeling”
However, there is no water post as such - it came a bit behind us. But there is a big can of water for washing dishes, etc. in the tent.
There is no campfire, which is perfectly fine when you are surrounded by the beautiful nature in such a dense environment.
On the other hand, there are pans and pots and gas to cook on. So it worked perfectly.
The tent was clean, with lovely mattresses and delicious linens.
There are small games you can borrow and even things for coffee, cocoa and tea.
There are no lights in the tent or on the small terrace outside.
There are small lights by the stairs and a single by the toilet. If you want more light than that on the ground, then you could consider taking a flashlight with you.
We lacked nothing - and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings.
This is definitely not the last time we get up there.

We had a wonderful experience with an overnight stay in Birkelyst.
Well-appointed tent with all the equipment needed to make your own food - both Trangia and a gas burner.
Even a cooler bag with "fresh" freezer elements in it - and a little game to enjoy!
Almost like sleeping in the open air - it was actually only cozy that it rained a little when we got to bed.
otherwise good large and comfortable box spring mattresses.
The place can only be recommended to anyone who loves the outdoors!

Super cozy place with lovely nature! Can recommend a walk up to the viewing bench and down the small path on the other side - there you can get the finest sunset :) Bøgelyst was nicely undisturbed, but I could sense that the other tents were not so hidden (you could sense them from the path).
It was nice that you did not have to wash up, but you could upgrade the 'kitchen part' a bit, so that there was a bacon board and a few more plates / bowls. It was a little hard to get a meal made. The service area could also need a cleaning + to have the cobweb removed from the top of the tent by the beds :)
It was nice to be able to order breakfast - suggestions for improvement: a little butter and a jam for the bread.
But it was a super experience! Great to wake up to the bird whistle and sunshine! :-)

Nice location, good with equipment, wonderful breakfast and good and fast communication with Ina :)
Bring well with warm clothes and possibly. an extra sleeping bag if the temperature is low at night (temp. 0-1 when we were there). Spring / summer I think it is perfectly fine with mattresses without "screening", but early spring it is cold as there is nothing under the mattresses :)
Next time, try out the cozy campfire!

Great way to experience nature. Has been inspired to make a tent in the same way at home.
Have slept quite deeply and could sleep despite bird chirps.
Would highly recommend doing it again.

Granlyst is open to the west with plenty of opportunity for sun. It is a very sloping plot so there are not many options for st staying outside the tent. There the other tents are better located. We ordered tapas and breakfast. Plenty of food. The tapas were very delicious. However, the bread was dry. The breakfast was fine except for dry bread and no butter unfortunately. Too bad you have to be out already at. 10. It got a little stressful. Would have liked to have enjoyed the breakfast a little longer. The tent is fine, but the stairs are very steep. The toilet is also nice. An excellent experience, but not good enough for a repeat.

Park the car in the parking lot and carry belongings to the tent. Car traffic in the forest destroys the road, nature and tranquility in the forest.
Keep a safe distance from the other tents. The tent fabric is transparent, so that passers-by can seem offensive and disturbing.
Do not disturb other guests and nature with loud music and shouting.
Do not throw rubbish in the wild, use the rubbish bin in the tent.
Use only the rubbish bin at the tent's camping toilet for organic leftovers. Other waste must NOT be thrown away.
Change bag in the toilet at each visit and on departure. Tie a knot on the bag before throwing it in the rubbish bin.
Used service, placed in the empty plastic box and put on departure in the tent's wooden box in the parking space, together with garbage bag, empty bottles, cooler bag and water bottle
Bring cushions and blankets into the tent at bedtime and / or if it starts to rain.
Bonfires and open fires are only allowed on the common established campfire site - not by the tent.
Let us know if something breaks / is lost, so it can be restored before new guests arrive.
