🚶‍♀️🚴‍♂️ For those who want to slow down on the road and come home to silence.
Welcome to Schorisse, on the border of the Flemish Ardennes and the Pays des Collines – a region where the landscape invites you to walk, cycle and breathe. Our 3500 m² garden is located right on hiking junctions 14 and 22, and is a peaceful base for those who love slow walks through sunken roads, forests and rolling fields.
⛺ After a day outside, pitch your tent in the greenery, take a refreshing outdoor shower under the cherry tree, and enjoy the simplicity of outdoor life. There is an eco-dry toilet, a campfire area, a pick-your-own herb garden, and a barbecue - feel free to bring your own coal.
🐾 You share the garden with our dear residents: Uriel and Indi, two sweet senior rescue dogs, Filemon the cat, our sheep Bernadette and Poppy, Blue the goose and a flock of cheerful chickens that will gladly treat you to fresh eggs.
🔥 In the evening you can listen to the crackling of the fire, the singing of birds and the soft rustling of leaves. You might even spot a deer in the adjacent birth forest.
🌿 We – Fanny (herbalist and dog interpreter) and Michel (artist) – like to share this place with those who love peace, nature and the little bits of happiness along the way.
