About this location

Place to live with an ecological vocation, in the peaceful Beaume valley, in the Cévennes d'Ardèche.
A little natural paradise to share with you, on the grounds of our old farm, with your feet in the water.
A 10 hectare plot of land crossed by two abundant rivers, inhabited by an old stone building from the 18th century, the likes of which are no longer made.
This place with its omnipresent nature still amazes us every day, the dream of a lifetime.
Activities:
Of course there is the river.
And then, numerous hikes leaving from the farm, towards the Cévennes valleys or the Tanargue massif.
The Beaume valley is full of corners, each prettier than the last.
You can also visit the fortified town of Largentière, the Chauvet cave or the Pont de l'Arc if you like the world of canoe highways.
An equestrian center is located a few kilometers away.
We particularly recommend the Beaumont market at 5 p.m. in summer: regional products and breathtaking views.
In the same genre, the Laboule market ends with meal/concert evenings.
Other remarks:
In addition to the notions of sharing, tolerance and freedom that we wish to convey, this project also has a somewhat militant side, and wishes to stand out from the omnipresence of money in our society.
Through this project, we hope to restore man's place in nature, in a context of freedom and respect for others, at a time when these are drastically reduced by politics or religion.
Among other things, we decided that the practice of naturism would be free, without being obligatory.

It's a round tent, 4.6m in diameter, equipped with a double bed (140cm) and a sitting area with a coffee table and cushions. There's lighting and electrical outlets, and the atmosphere is cozy. It's located in a quiet spot above the river with direct access. The sanitary facilities are about 50m from the tent and are shared with the few campers we host. There you'll find a dry toilet and a hot shower. There's also an outdoor cold shower in a green setting elsewhere on the property for those who prefer it. We undertook the renovation of an old self-built Ardèche farm, and little by little discovered the agricultural world: vegetable garden, edible forest, "brush-cutting" goats, chickens, management of a chestnut grove, apple production...
It's a dream come true, and we want to share this happiness with you as the place is magical.
Because we want to live in harmony with nature, look at it, respect it and learn from it, we experiment with permaculture, we renovate the farm using eco-construction and we encourage naturism.
