The Farm is a family-run organic farm with certified production of fruits and vegetables, guest houses, spaces for events and an art gallery that was created in the property's old cellar. Located in Fernando Pó, the gardens of the vineyards, in the municipality of Palmela, close to Lisbon, Setúbal, Arrábida, Alcácer do Sal and Comporta, provide the best of both worlds for their visitors: unique experiences in the farm and in surrounding areas.
The houses offer visitors all the amenities for a pleasant stay in the countryside, as reflected in the rating of 9.5 out of 10 that guests assigned to the property. On the farm, visitors can also stay in the orchard using their tents or caravans.
On the farm our visitors can play ping-pong, basketball, volleyball, table football, dive into the pool, visit the vegetable garden and orchard, play in the gardens, feed the chickens, visit the art gallery, do a painting or bread workshop, wine tasting and even watch open-air cinema.
In Fernando Pó, visitors can go on foot and bicycle trails, horseback riding, picnics in the vineyard, taste the local soup, seafood, shellfish and roast suckling pig, but they cannot miss the visit to the most famous wineries in the village.

In the surrounding areas, you can take the catamaran to Cais do Sodré (Lisbon center), take a Sado tour to see dolphins or eat oysters at sunset, take the ferry to Tróia, eat fried cuttlefish in Setúbal, razor clams in Alcácer do Sal or an unique rice in Comporta, visit the beaches and the natural park of Arrábida, visit the Castle of Palmela and the Casa Mãe da Rota dos Vinhos among many other options.

Amazing!

We enjoyed our stay very much! Perfect place to relax! There is only place for one camper so you don’t feel like being on a camping. Possibility to use the big pool, clean sanitary facilities, table tennis, lots of friendly animals, a little shop with local products, a small bar,… Definitely recommending this place to other friends!

How was the contact with the host?
Ana is the best! She makes you feel like home and she’s always there to help you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Humus Farm. We got a basket with breakfast in the morning, very cool! Our children were able to enjoy themselves in the pool, they played with the 3 super sweet dogs. Anna put the bunny outside especially for our children. Really great!!

How was the contact with the host?
We were very warmly welcomed by Bruno and Anna. They are very likeable. They give you privacy, but are always ready for a chat or to provide information. Bruno even reserved a restaurant for us in Lisbon.

Tips for new guests?
Be sure to visit it, it's really worth it!!

On our arrival at Humus Farm we were kindly received by Bruno and his wife Ana. Bruno gave us a tour of their farm and told us about all the accommodations and facilities they offer.

We got a nice spot for our van, where Bruno and Ana created a nice terrace with shade to sit during the day. In addition, we got our own private shower and toilet that we could use.

Humus Farm has a lovely large swimming pool with sunbeds where you can relax and take a refreshing dip. It is located in a beautiful area between different vineyards. The farm itself has a beautiful vegetable garden where Ana grows her own vegetables and a beautiful orchard where you can walk through.

We enjoyed the hospitality and the food that Ana cooked for us and we had a pleasant evening with the whole family eating delicious pizzas from their own wood oven!

Humus Farm is animal friendly, the family has several very sweet dogs, a cat and parrot. In short, a very pleasant environment.

The location of this place is perfect. In addition to the many wineries within walking distance, you are a short drive from several beaches, lovely cities and Lisbon.
