The Farm is a family-run organic farm with certified production of fruits and vegetables, guest houses, spaces for events and an art gallery that was created in the property's old cellar. Located in Fernando Pó, the gardens of the vineyards, in the municipality of Palmela, close to Lisbon, Setúbal, Arrábida, Alcácer do Sal and Comporta, provide the best of both worlds for their visitors: unique experiences in the farm and in surrounding areas.
The houses offer visitors all the amenities for a pleasant stay in the countryside, as reflected in the rating of 9.5 out of 10 that guests assigned to the property. On the farm, visitors can also stay in the orchard using their tents or caravans.
On the farm our visitors can play ping-pong, basketball, volleyball, table football, dive into the pool, visit the vegetable garden and orchard, play in the gardens, feed the chickens, visit the art gallery, do a painting or bread workshop, wine tasting and even watch open-air cinema.
In Fernando Pó, visitors can go on foot and bicycle trails, horseback riding, picnics in the vineyard, taste the local soup, seafood, shellfish and roast suckling pig, but they cannot miss the visit to the most famous wineries in the village.
In the surrounding areas, you can take the catamaran to Cais do Sodré (Lisbon center), take a Sado tour to see dolphins or eat oysters at sunset, take the ferry to Tróia, eat fried cuttlefish in Setúbal, razor clams in Alcácer do Sal or an unique rice in Comporta, visit the beaches and the natural park of Arrábida, visit the Castle of Palmela and the Casa Mãe da Rota dos Vinhos among many other options.
