About this location

Moin and welcome to our little family farm in the heart of a charming northern German village!

Our farm is easily accessible via the A1 and A7 motorways as well as public transport. Despite the good connections, you can enjoy the tranquility of country life at our place.

The pitch is secluded on our spacious property and offers a nice view of the adjacent meadow (including our four sheep as well as chickens). The typical northern German landscape with its wide fields, hedgerows, and rolling hills invites you to take long walks and bike rides. Several idyllic lakes are also within cycling distance/a short drive.

In about 30 minutes, you can also reach the sea (Baltic Sea) and the picturesque hilly landscape of East Holstein with its forests and natural paradises. The surrounding area offers many opportunities for relaxation, water sports, and nature experiences. The larger cities are also easily accessible: Kiel is a 20-minute drive away, Eckernförde is about 45 minutes away, Lübeck is about 1 hour away, and Hamburg is about 1 hour away.

During your stay, you will have access to water from a garden hose, but it is potable. An environmentally friendly dry-separating toilet is provided for your use – so you should be comfortable with composting toilets and outdoor-style infrastructure.

Since there are children living on the farm, we also have loads of children's toys, which we are happy to provide if needed :-)

We are living as an intergenerational family on this farm, aging from 3 to 85. Before we settled down, we loved traveling ourselves- so now we like to invite travelers to our home!
