Welcome to our holiday farm in the beautiful Sauerland!
Our pitch for self-sufficient caravans and mobile homes is ideal for families and a wonderful starting point for hikers and cyclists. Our pitch is right on the edge of the forest and in the "Rübenkamp-Melbecketal" nature reserve. In addition, our horse paddock is right next to your pitch, so you can watch the horse granny graze and your children can pet and groom it. The pitch has electricity and drinking water connection equipped and of course has WiFi. Children also get their money's worth on our farm. They can let off steam in a small playground, visit the ponies and explore the grounds with the Kettcar. Fun for the whole family!
On a journey of discovery in the Sauerland
The nature reserve stretches between our holiday farm and the site of the Karl May Festival in Elspe. Covering an area of less than one square kilometer, the Melbecketal is home to a multitude of unique habitats. The Sauerland is a very densely wooded region with a high recreational value. Located in the southeast of North Rhine-Westphalia, the region is criss-crossed by many small streams and rivers and offers great opportunities for hiking, cycling and water sports. Visit historic castles and palaces, lovingly restored half-timbered houses and gain insight into a long mining tradition.

Our family has lived on our holiday farm in the idyllic Melbecketal since 1307.
In the past we operated agriculture with livestock, grassland and arable farming.
Unfortunately, we had to give up farming for health reasons and have been renting a holiday home and holiday apartments to guests since 2006.
Since September 1st we have been renting natural camping pitches.
This work brings us great joy.
We look forward to welcoming you.

  • Karl May Festspiele Elspe ( Elspe Festival ) Camp in nature with your mobile home and walk to the Elspe Festival in 20 minutes. You can't camp any closer when visiting the festival.
