We welcome you to our garden near the sea (15 km) in Chatelaillon Plage, La Rochelle. From June onwards, you can enjoy our heated swimming pool (28°C) as much as you like. Our region is worth exploring, offering a variety of activities both by the sea and in the Charente countryside, as well as the historic towns of La Rochelle and Rochefort. We are close to La Vélodyssée, the French section of the Atlantic Coast Route - EuroVelo 1, a cycle route that crosses Brittany and follows the Atlantic coast to the Basque Coast along a scenic and wild path. You can rest and take a break with your bicycles, which will be stored in our garage. Our 2,500 m² garden is peaceful and relaxing, with a gravel courtyard for your vehicles. It's quiet and peaceful, as we are located in the hamlet of Cugné. As we are a non-smoking property, we kindly ask you to respect this and not to throw cigarette butts on the ground. Activities: From June to the end of September (weather permitting), you will have access to the 5m x 10m heated swimming pool, the pétanque and shuffleboard courts, and summer games. - Do you enjoy playing pétanque or shuffleboard? Then come and play, practice, discover, and give or receive advice. As a couple, we live 18 km from La Rochelle. We're in the countryside, but with all amenities nearby. Our property boasts a large, landscaped garden with trees and flowers, a heated in-ground swimming pool, a pétanque court or shuffleboard court, and other outdoor summer games. We'll welcome you as if you were at home, with a brand new bathroom (shower, toilet, and sink) in the detached garage. There's also an outdoor solar shower, an outdoor chemical toilet for the pool, and a large, sheltered summer kitchen area with a refrigerator if needed.

2 Photovoltaic Panels. Cycling. We are part of an association, L'Embellie, which maintains our environment. We plant new hedges and restore old hiking trails in the village. Every year, the association harvests honey from our beehives. We maintain a fruit orchard and a vineyard planted by our elders in the village. With the Saint Christophe school, we accompany the children to introduce them to the plants and flowers of our countryside, in the woods and forest, and on the hiking trails.
