About this location

We welcome you to our idyllically located pitch with railway views and sheep pasture.

Do you love watching trains? Observing sheep or simply enjoying wonderful sunsets? Experiencing tractors in the field or just sitting and watching the exciting trains between Treuchtlingen and Gunzenhausen? Admiring the horses in the neighbour's paddock? Then you've come to the right place!

Do you have children on board? Very welcome!! Our large natural meadow invites you to play, explore and discover...

Our pitch is located behind our agricultural property with wonderful views and fantastic evening sun. From April to November you can park directly next to the inhabited sheep pasture. Would you prefer to be closer to the railway or near the wheat field? No problem, you can choose together with us. If you wish, you can use our camping toilet for an additional fee. Our small tent protects you from onlookers. A stocked refrigerator is now available for you. You will find cold drinks, fresh eggs, some delicacies and ice for spontaneous cooling. Payment is handled uncomplicated on a trust basis.

The price includes up to 4 people (2 adults / 2 children) and one vehicle.

You will find us in the beautiful Franconian Lake District, approximately 50 km southwest of Nuremberg / Middle Franconia, in the small village of Aha, directly next to the impressive small town of Gunzenhausen. From here you can wonderfully explore the Altmühl Lake, small and large Brombach Lake or the Roth and Igelsbach Lake. The paths here are perfect for extended cycling tours or just small exploration rounds.

Distance to the cycle path directly on the Altmühl: 300 meters
Distance to Altmühl Lake: 4 km
Distance to small Brombach Lake: 10 km
Distance to large Brombach Lake: 15 km
Distance to Gunzenhausen: 1 km (groceries, etc.)

The towns of Weißenburg, Treuchtlingen and Ansbach also invite you to linger and stroll (between 15-25 km)
