About this location

Our beautiful, spacious orchard is situated in a quiet location on the edge of Idesheim. It's an attractive starting point for fantastic excursions! Explore the culture of Trier and Luxembourg, or enjoy unspoiled nature for hikers and mountain bikers. Currently, our orchard is only suitable for self-sufficient camping with your own toilet. Fresh water is available at our farm in the village center (approx. 500 meters away). A wastewater drain is also located there. Whether you're looking for a relaxing short break or a stopover on your journey – you are most welcome!

Accessible by regular vehicle. The village now has a small farm shop near the carpentry workshop with regional products (eggs, meat, potatoes, ice cream, etc.), within a 5-minute walk. Bakery and large supermarket (REWE) available in nearby Welschbillig (3km). Additional shopping in Bitburg (15 km) or Trier (20 km). Restaurants in nearby towns Meckel, Welschbillig, Gilzem, etc. Great day trips include Eifelpark Gondorf (17 km), Dinopark with adjacent Teufelsschlucht in Ernzen (19 km), and various locations in Luxembourg (Echternach, Müllerthal, Wasserspielplatz Rosport). Cheap fuel available there. Mountain bikers and hikers will enjoy the Kylltal, Mosel and Sauertal valleys. Massage and energetic healing services available on-site. Enjoy!
