Hospitable - unique environment - tranquility

These words perfectly describe our holiday in beautiful Cotignac, with Miriam and Walter.

It's amazing how they live, off the grid, but still have everything you need. Their hospitality was great and gave us a lot of confidence in our 1st camping adventure.

Cotignac itself is beautiful, very cozy and the locals are very friendly. Through Miriam and Walter we visited unique places on the water and had a delicious meal.

It was also a great holiday for our dogs, because of the beautiful surroundings, the weather and the attention from Miriam and Walter, they were ZEN just like us!!!

How was the contact with the host?
Very sweet, warm and jovial people. So this was perfectly fine. We also had fun and enjoyable moments together. They are also always ready to provide some information if you go on a day trip.

Tips for new guests?
A good cool box or small refrigerator (gas powered) when it is so hot. 😅 We had not taken this into account.

This place is highly recommended for anyone who loves nature and camping but hates overpopulated family style campsites. Walter and Miriam have built a unique paradise completely off grid on a gorgeous piece of land. There are lots of wine tasting opportunities around but really the best place to do this is near the lovely pool, after a refreshing dip :). Five stars all the way!

How was the contact with the host?
We felt really welcome and had a great time and shared some great laughs with Walter and Miriam. We stayed at their place for a week and the atmosphere was truly relaxed and it really felt like a home away from home.

A bathroom with hot shower and toilet, neat and clean.
