A true haven of peace where you can recharge in all simplicity in the Tarn Valley. Whether you enjoy country walks, are a weekend angler, a nap expert, a canoeist, or simply a river dreamer, you'll find in our garden a place that reconciles all tastes. The old building is an iconic landmark of the village of Villeneuve-sur-Tarn. The watermill has existed since at least 1492. Our garden, surrounded by water, invites you to a contemplative stay where watching the sunrises and sunsets is highly recommended. Those who are more restless can explore the surrounding paths by bike or on foot, canoe down the Tarn, visit medieval castles and churches, 19th-century industrial sites, and stroll through the many local markets in the surrounding villages. Sylvie will be delighted to show you her garden, a treasure trove of aromatic flavors steeped in history. Activities: The Tarn Valley is renowned for its walks and canoeing down the Tarn River. There is supervised swimming at Trèbas-les-Bains, 1 km away. Albi is 30 minutes away, and several small villages and castles are worth visiting: Brousse-le-Château, Ambialet, Coupiac, Lincou... Other notes: For meals, you can discover two restaurants within walking distance of the house: L'Auberge des Lauriers (50 m) and L'Hostal (600 m). You can also do your shopping, also on foot, in Trébas, a seaside village 1 km away with all amenities.

Let's respect nature: no smoking without an ashtray, no littering without recycling, no fires without a barbecue. Quiet hours after 11 pm for everyone's peace and quiet. Children are the responsibility of their parents; remember you're at a watermill and there's water everywhere! Pets are welcome provided they get along with our dog, cats, and chickens. They all roam freely in the garden.
