About this campspace

The beginnings our farm, located at Slovenian countryside, reach into 19th century and its current state is a product of valuable work through life of many generations.
Due to the nature-loving viewpoint, the constant development and the traditional Slovenian lifestyle, today's farm is certified according to ecological standards. The sunny location on the hill offers a beautiful view of the nearby mountains. Our farm includes five hectares of meadows, pasture, forest and a garden, as well as a small vineyard.
The quiet, but diverse country life invites not only to relax and rest, but also offers activities such as daily farm work, hiking, cycling, or during winter, ski tours and visiting the thermal baths, which are all located within a maximum of 1 hour drive.
Since 1997, a herd of sheep grazes over the pastures of our property with a buck called Mirek. They would all be happy to welcome guests!
An ethnological collection of old tools and household equipment is presented in one of our barns and presents the ancient country lifestyle in Ogorevc. Another special feature of our farm is the library on the haystack with over 2000 books from different cultures and national languages.
In 2017, we transformed an old wine cellar into a guest house, which is perfect for smaller companies interested in organizing events in a cozy country environment. In our guesthouse, guests can stay in the two newly furnished rooms. Alternatively, you can camp on the lawn in front of the house with a camper or a tent (electricity and water are available). For the more adventurous, we offer an overnight stay on a small haystack (at additional cost).
We will do our best to provide you with a wonderful, mindful experience at our farm.

Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded.

Tips

The worlds only beer fountain is just 20 km away and a it is a really cool experience.
For more fun there is also our lady-donkey Lipa who always likes to greet our guests.

We had a lovely stay at Darja! Even though we traveled by train and everything was hard to reach we still managed to have a great time due to Darjas tips. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Darja and her son are simply the perfect hosts. Before getting there, they explained us in detail the different options me and my partner had as backpackers to reach the farm. Upon arrival, we were offered a warm welcome at the farm's cellar, even though we arrived pretty late. They also explained us how everything works. The facilities offered for campers are superb: clean and big bathroom, little room with sockets to charge all sorts of gadgets, tea and coffee...

Plus, they have bicycles for rental and the can also cook you the best and most varied breakfast you'll ever have at an affordable price.

On our departure day, it was raining heavily and Darja took us to the nearest train station in Štore wholeheartedly. You'll surely enjoy your stay at Artišek!

This is a very special place. It is run by a very friendly family. Mother and son, both equally affectionate. Their policy is to run this campspace with their heart, not their bank account. And if you feel that!! Everyone can go here: campers with a tent or camper (electricity and water supply available per site), but also casual passers-by can sleep in the covered "hut". There are even 2 beautiful rooms for rent with private sanitary facilities. The campers can use the equipped bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. Inside and outside there is a well-functioning WiFi connection. There are also spaces inside with a breakfast room and a place where you can relax in the evening with a local beer or wine. Small shop with homemade craft products. Tip: try the breakfast basket! Undoubtedly the best breakfast in years! The environment can be called fantastic in one word. You look out on a beautiful mountain landscape. Of course you can take lovely walks here. There are also plenty of things to discover in the area: a castle, spa and thermal baths, a shopping center and even a village with a real beer fountain! The camping site is very well maintained and radiates peace and beauty. This is the ideal place to stop for 1 or 2 nights or also to relax for a week.
