About this location

A former four-sided farm with a large meadow behind the main farmhouse, regularly mowed. Eckmannsdorf is a small village in the Fläming region with about 90 residents. From there it is 4 km to Flämingskate, the airfield and festival grounds in Altes Lager / Niedergörsdorf (airfield, secret forest, Wurzelfestival, Motorcycle Jamboree), 30 minutes to Wittenberge, Luckenwalde, Bad Belzig, Beelitz, 1 hour to Potsdam, Berlin and Brandenburg / Havel. Approximately 3500 sqm are available; the pitch can be freely chosen on the meadow in consultation with other users. On-site staff provide orientation and activate electrical connections. There are two dry-separation toilets, an outdoor shower, a fully equipped summer kitchen, and water and electrical connections throughout the property. The location is quiet, though cars occasionally drive on the cobblestone road (see photos), which you can hear... All people are warmly welcome here – regardless of origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation or lifestyle. We stand for tolerance. Our place is a space where everyone can feel safe and comfortable. As hosts, we are committed to diversity and reject all forms of exclusion and discrimination.

The arrival and departure times can be freely negotiated; if you arrive at night, simply follow the description, look for a free space and everything else (power connection, etc.) can then be done in peace the next morning.
There are two dry, separate toilets, no water flush. Washing machine and option to wash dishes with hot water available. Small porch swing vhd. Beer tent furniture to borrow free of charge vhd. Large fire bowl vhd. Sufficient 220/400V connections vhd. Approx. 3500 square meters of lawn on a former four-sided farm, dogs are not a problem (on a leash if necessary). People with tents are welcome (cyclists and hikers). Only 4 kilometers to Flämingskate, Altes Lager (secret forest, Wurzelfestivel, Motorcycle Jamboree). 30 minutes to Lutherstadt Wittenberg and Luckenwalde. 1 hour to Potsdam, Berlin, Brandenburg / Havel. Garden shower, larger seating and permanent fireplace are under construction, keep checking in!

Hello, we are Katrin and Torsten, currently living in Potsdam and want to build a farm community with different users on this property. Some tenants already live there. Gradually the farm will be renovated, and we want to create additional offerings for individual travelers and groups. We are over 50, have two children in training and both have careers that work well with this large project. When we are on the property (mostly on weekends or occasionally on weekday evenings), we also enjoy chatting with guests – we are always curious about people and the stories they bring. But peace and quiet is also nice, and you can find that here if you want...
